Pleasantly surprised with Crochet.. fully expected a stinker on offense. Benintendi swings a wet noodle while Moncada, Robert, and Eloy just swing at everything. Then 5-9 are just filled with mediocre to bad players.

I do think someone should be warming up this inning. No need to pitch past 6 innings.

Crochet is being very efficient. Zero walks and 7 strikeouts. That'll work, every single time.

I said it before, but would feel much better with anyone but Pedro overseeing this conversion to starter.  Just don’t think he’s smart enough to balance his workload appropriately vs. trying to win games.
