Monstrously...we shall see.

Hopefully we can off load Benintendi to the Braves.

Which also won't help the offense.

Benintendi is on pace to break Hack Wilson's RBI single-season record. It would be better if he did it for us.

If he can actually play himself into being a good trade chip, you absolutely trade him.

He seems like he's turned a corner. I saw his face today and personally I thought "looks like he's on the juice".  Good, just don't get caught before you're traded.

If they bring up Quero, Teel and Meidroth sooner rather than later and they produce this team could be playing meaningful games in September. The miracle on 35th Street could happen!

If by "meaningful" you mean, in contention for the best overall odds at the 2026 #1 pick in the MLB draft, then I agree with you.

It probably will be at least good, but it is not going to keep this pace. The Angels stink and the Twins are off to a bad start. Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining about winning two games by a combined score of 17-1. But let's get real here.

Also Perez needs more plaudits. Got a lot of Ks on the cutter and changeup. A couple on the sinker too.

10D 100th career HR.

Vasil MLB MalB debut right ?

M.A.Taylor career HR 101 did I hear that right ?

Correct on all three milestones. Perez did a great job. People here had all three of Burke, Cannon and Davis back in the minors by June 1, Perez DFAed, Smith buried in the bullpen, and Clevenger starting. I'm going to take the under on all of that.

Lol well I try not to count all the DFAs thrown around in game threads. Usually you get around 100 by the middle of April. 😉

WestEddy touting some kind of great victory is a bit premature.

Let's have the first 4-6 weeks play out, lol...

Something tells me White Sox fans are going to need something like still competitive in the AL Central around Memorial Day before demonstrating much excitement.

Although when beating a 3-22 start is your standard, it does SEEM/FEEL at least dramatically better or different.

God bless ya man. I hope ( sincerely ) that you’re our next GM.

The team definitely looks much better than last year, but we will have to see how they fare against better competition.  The Angels aren’t a good team and the Twins look like they could be the stinker of the AL Central.

We have the second highest run differential in the AL behind the NY Torpedoes and are try only team in baseball with an X-W/L of 4-0.  When will you become a believer man?

calling a different team the stinker of the ALC is more impressive than like any other team winning the World Series. Venable is a god

Still not a fan of some of Venable’a lineup choices, not that he has a bunch of great players to pick from.  But the offense looks like they could continue to do what they have already done in the first 4 games — be completely boom or bust.

Yeah I don’t think we really learned anything about the team in these first few games. Even if they did this against better teams, that’s just baseball. It wouldn’t change my opinion that they’ll still be one of the three worst teams in the league.

THAT BEING SAID, I’m not here to rain on any parades.

If they can be a young, fun, bad team this year, I think that’s a huge step forward and a massive improvement over whatever the past couple years have been. So far, so good.
