People here had all three of Burke, Cannon and Davis back in the minors by June 1, Perez DFAed, Smith buried in the bullpen, and Clevenger starting. I'm going to take the under on all of that.

Something tells me White Sox fans are going to need something like still competitive in the AL Central around Memorial Day before demonstrating much excitement. Although when beating a 3-22 start is your standard, it does SEEM/FEEL at least dramatically better or different.

Venable is a god Still not a fan of some of Venable’a lineup choices, not that he has a bunch of great players to pick from. Even if they did this against better teams, that’s just baseball. It wouldn’t change my opinion that they’ll still be one of the three worst teams in the league. THAT BEING SAID, I’m not here to rain on any parades. If they can be a young, fun, bad team this year, I think that’s a huge step forward and a massive improvement over whatever the past couple years have been. So far, so good.
