That is why I frequent this site, where everyone is always so nice and respectful.

I do not think it's out of the realm of possibilities that one of Justin Crawford or Aidan Miller is on the Sox after tomorrow, not getting my hopes up but Robert fills such a big void for them and the Mets

Phillies should take him along with two of our relievers.

Miller’s stock has to be way down. He’s had a really rough season.

Completely different situation though.  The Sox had just given up their first round pick in Madrigal and a good setup man in Heuer for Kimbrel.  They also thought they were still in their competitive window but already had Hendriks for the closer spot.  Kimbrel was a bust so they tried to recoup some value by swapping him for a position of need — a starting RF in Pollock.  It’s not like the Sox thought they would be terrible in 2022 and picked up Kimbrel’s option to trade him for prospects.

Pollock was never a capable RFer unfortunately.  Plus he never really wanted to leave the Dodgers.

I couldn't stand the guy....to me he was just a mope all season because he didn't want to be here. One of the reasons I don't mind Benintendi is because I hated Pollock so much.
