And this is why you argue with most of the board. That is NOT the point everyone is trying to make, but you're either being purposely obtuse, or you have a severe reading comprehension issue.

And I can say that right back to you. Let it go.

Getz should call up Hahn and thank him for acquiring the one position prospect that is currently performing well for the team.

I mean Braden Montgomery is demolishing the ball.

Vargas got a beer belly? Sheesh!

He saw what happened to Moncada and Robert and took Ozzie's "can't pull fat" to heart.

wtf is the impetus to get this damn game in? I guess they really think they can come back.

At this point, it's the umps call. They usually like to wait a good while so everyone thinks they've been fair.

I will say, I loved that trade from the jump. @WhiteSox2023 can attest to it. Crochet is a monster but that was a very nice return the Sox got for him.

Yeah, Crochet trade was baller. Pretty much an inverse of Cease.

I was so bummed Boston took Teel one pick before the Sox in the draft, so that was perfect.

So you're explaining in six points how you reached your conclusion of endorsing Dalbec to start at shortstop, and you reached that conclusion because of the other names you listed have been so bad, like Amaya, Palacios, Tauchman, Maton....

I think you're sort of missing the bigger point that Ray, and others have been trying to make. The issue is those are the choices they have to make. These are the players and roster decisions made by Getz, and because of those decisions, the 2025 White Sox are starting a 30 year old at SS with a career -0.7 WAR, who in over 2000 MLB innings, has played 26 innings at the position.

Yes, we know this a "rebuild" so you can save that reply for another day. But after setting the major league record for futility last season, most us feel some slightly better options would be appropriate.

You're not going to get slightly better caring about how another Sox fan decides to defend his favorite team are you ? That has about the same chance as writing JR a letter.

We all expect slightly better. We may actually get it too even with the massive amounts of injuries throughout the system. Just remember you expect  slightly better so anything above 41 wins your expectations will have been met. I doubt anyone will be apologizing to anyone .
