Can't really blame Caleb for this one. One thing I did notice was that the offensive line was pretty good in the first half but was awful in the 2nd. Tackles constantly got beat. Caleb was also taking a bit longer on some throws in the 2nd half. Seems like the opponents actually adjust at half and we don't. Both 2nd halves have been disastrous so far. I think the terrible call before half kind of deflated the defense, but that doesn't excuse giving up 52.

It just looked like the team gave up

He just signed a 3-year extension through the 2029 season.  The McCaskey’s love him apparently.  Why?  I have no idea.

Not sure why either - I haven’t been a big Poles fan for a while. But I do get with the new coach why they did it.  I also expect they will be 1-3 or even 0-4 leading into bye. They better start to turn things around after that. Lions are just too good and Bears made way too many mistakes. Between penalties, inability to execute on 4th and short, the turnovers, they just aren’t there to be able to win a barn burner.

Big picture,  the Bears are in a horrible division to make the playoffs out of, and these first two weeks have shown why.  GB is a Super Bowl threat while Minny and Detroit are probably playoff teams.  The Bears feel "better", but there was always a gap between them and the other 3.

Sigh.....well we didn't deserve it anyway. Still dumb to take that penalty.

At least we will beat CIN in a couple weeks because Burrow will be out several weeks. We will get killed by the Chargers next week tho

Tough way to lose

Chiefs losing makes it easier.

Colts deserved to lose that with whatever they were trying to do prior to the FG attempt. Running it 5 times in a row into a heavy box instead of trying to get the 10 yards you need. They played so scared and deserved to lose for that. They got bailed out by a soft call.

It's the McCaskey family they have no idea how to run a football team.

But hey, a new stadium will solve all our problems! 🤡

Poles here until 2029.  Sad.

Embarrassing.  What a well deserved extension he received.  Amazing.

Dude, we get it. You don't have to respond to every post with the same thing

There were a couple of us who were the biggest advocates on trading that #1 pick instead of taking Caleb because the Bears still had way too many holes on their team. With that being said, I don't know if Poles would've made the right selections anyways with those picks.

I understand why people wanted Williams over Fields, but man I wasn’t feeling a quarterback change with the holes they had at other positions, particularly offensive tackle. I would have loved them trading the pick. Williams was the number one pick so he has to play like it. He can’t just run out of the pocket and has to throw towards the middle of the field. Be a damn gunslinger instead of a backyard athlete.

Will the OL allow for that?
