What the organization REALLY needed right now, was a 27 year old catcher who can’t hit……or catch.

 

I guess Getz either gets someone over 30 with a little potential left, or someone under 30 with no skill set at all.

But that would take at bats away from Will Robertson, Josh Rojas, and eventually Ryan Noda. They are the straws that are also in the drink.

He’s the guy Stone and Schriffen couldn’t emphasize enough how the Sox were going to run on. Watch how the tune changes if he puts on a White Sox uniform.

The guy has played some OF as well. Any chance they call him up after guys are moved to serve as a 3rd C (with a little flexibility) so Quero and Teel can both be in the lineup (one DHing).

I assume he wanted Sabol as an outfielder, not catcher.

Pretty sure a Sox site (South Side Sox maybe?) kicked around the idea earlier this week Lee for Perlaza (forgot his first name). A 26-YO switch-hitting MI feels about right but guess I’d rather have a lotto ticket arm in this kind of move.
