Only thing holding us back from the now is lack of intra division games.  I hate the new schedule!

Fun Brooks Baldwin fact: he has homers in both of the MiLB ballparks in rotation this season (Steinbrenner and SAC) and in both cases was the first Sox to hit one.

Kinda. Don't really know why some people were running with the idea that it was about effort or something. https://soxmachine.com/2025/07/white-sox-7-pirates-2-opening-second-half-with-first-sw

review it i think that's a homer

Chase is a machine.

Chase needs to add like 4 more pushups to his workout

I like this version of Chase

The ball Meidroth hit was way in off the plate. Impressive that he could square up a pitch thrown there (and keep it fair)

This park is perfect for the A's  Ray's or Sox. No triple decks needed. Seriously. I bet Ringmaster Ned could outdraw any of them.

Sounded like on the broadcast we had a nice Sox crowd on hand!! Hope you stayed cool and enjoyed the game @Capn12

That stat is pretty cool

The Brewers might quibble with Schriffen that the Sox are the hottest team in baseball.

Not at all. GO BREWERS!

4 in a row 🤯

BP 1 run 2 hits 4K 3 BB in 5 innings.

Wilson got his ERA down to 1.99.

Altavilla down to 1.54 .

Enough of the trades just win some games before I catch Indiana Fever.

I had that once....drink plenty of fluids, with at least 40% being non-alcoholic.

We left a little early, my wife was melting. But, I got to see all of the Sox offense, that was nice. Burke was laboring in the swamp air.

The new owner wants a new stadium in the Tampa Channelside district near Amalie arena, the Rays would draw much better there than they do in St. Pete. The Lightning at Amalie are on a streak of over 500 straight sellouts. Most of the population of TB is centered in the Tampa area and northern suburbs, it’s a real trek for all those fans to get to St. Pete and the Trop. It’s also hard for fans who live east of the Bay itself as they have to drive way out of the way south and then back north to cross over on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

It looks miserably humid there.

It’s summer in Florida, after 32 years in Florida you get used to it. Summer in Florida is way better than winter in Chicago.

Hard disagree.

AP article said the Chase had 3 hits, ehhhh nope ,4 hits, 3 doubles.

I am loving this burst of hits, power, and runs, to top it off the bullpen has been stellar.

Altavilla is dialed in, I had no clue he threw that hard.

I have zero interest in Florida's weather year-round, yuck.

Mighty: I was a snowbird for many years just north of Bradinton and we went north via 75 or west via Sunshine and neither were much of a problem.  Back home I went to Fenway and it was always a tough commute and parking was an adventure. Florida residents, in general, St. Pete or Tampa  don't seem to be die-hard fans but more of  casual fans. Weird they really have attached themselves to the hockey team though. That is my take but the Rays have been pretty competitive for many years but have a bunch of reasons why mans don't attend. I think Nashville may eventually be their landing spot.

Probably would have had a few more wins if they brought him up instead of clevinger

Dammit meant to reply to the Altavilla  comment

How bad was Pedro Grifol.

This team is showing that even bad baseball teams will win 60 games by default as Hawk taught us.
