Sox at Rays, 7/21 6:35 CDT

This park is perfect for the A's  Ray's or Sox. No triple decks needed. Seriously. I bet Ringmaster Ned could outdraw any of them.

Enough of the trades just win some games before I catch Indiana Fever.

I had that once....drink plenty of fluids, with at least 40% being non-alcoholic.

Sounded like on the broadcast we had a nice Sox crowd on hand!! Hope you stayed cool and enjoyed the game @Capn12

We left a little early, my wife was melting. But, I got to see all of the Sox offense, that was nice. Burke was laboring in the swamp air.

The new owner wants a new stadium in the Tampa Channelside district near Amalie arena, the Rays would draw much better there than they do in St. Pete. The Lightning at Amalie are on a streak of over 500 straight sellouts. Most of the population of TB is centered in the Tampa area and northern suburbs, it’s a real trek for all those fans to get to St. Pete and the Trop. It’s also hard for fans who live east of the Bay itself as they have to drive way out of the way south and then back north to cross over on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.

It looks miserably humid there.

It’s summer in Florida, after 32 years in Florida you get used to it. Summer in Florida is way better than winter in Chicago.

AP article said the Chase had 3 hits, ehhhh nope ,4 hits, 3 doubles.

I am loving this burst of hits, power, and runs, to top it off the bullpen has been stellar.

Altavilla is dialed in, I had no clue he threw that hard.

Mighty: I was a snowbird for many years just north of Bradinton and we went north via 75 or west via Sunshine and neither were much of a problem.  Back home I went to Fenway and it was always a tough commute and parking was an adventure. Florida residents, in general, St. Pete or Tampa  don't seem to be die-hard fans but more of  casual fans. Weird they really have attached themselves to the hockey team though. That is my take but the Rays have been pretty competitive for many years but have a bunch of reasons why mans don't attend. I think Nashville may eventually be their landing spot.

I have zero interest in Florida's weather year-round, yuck.

Probably would have had a few more wins if they brought him up instead of clevinger
