When the winning streak hit 5 it was 5 comback wins in a row and the 1st time it happened since 1986. Now it’s 6 comeback wins in a row.

And that’s the first time they have ever won 6 in a row where all 6 were comeback wins.

For the love of God, no more shitty utility players on 3/4 million dollar contracts blocking kids from playing.

  • Fletcher's 2nd double. Trade won.

Isn't that what I said ? 😉  Oh you mean in franchise history ?

so...are we winning the division next year? battled through some frustrating moments, convincing win against a good team.

1) This team reminds me of the 1989 team. After the All Star break in 1989 the team with its young players started  playing better baseball the second half. The present TV announcers keep saying that this is a different team than earlier in the season. They're right. Looks to me that brighter days are coming. 2026 could be a real good season. 2) These people who design  the City Connect jerseys  baffle me. The present White Sox  City Connect jersey looks like a Chicago Bulls jersey. The present Cubs City Connect jersey looks like the old Monreal Expos jersey. And the Tigers City Connect  (worn tonight) is just out and out ugly. I wonder if anybody is buying these City Connect jerseys. 4) I haven't heard anything so I'm  assuming there is not going to be a Soxfest this year.

I think we are. We're spotting the other team runs every game, and we're still pounding them. Next year, they get serious.

Quietly Venable is becoming a very good Manager. His players respect and like him and most importantly they play really hard for him. I don't want to get too excited but I have to admit I feel more positive about this team and their future than I have in a long while.

Now it's really important they finish this season strong. Go in to the off season feeling really good about the direction this franchise is finally headed.

I try not to get overly excited about hot streaks when they beat a really bad team 4 of the 6. Nice wins , love their attitudes but lets get to not 100 losses first and see what happens this off season.

Yeah I'd be happy to be .500 next season.

Venable's got these guys wanting to run through walls. And he ain't no Ditka, berating them all day. I'm excited.

The Twins are still a nice offensive team, and we outhit them. I called them a AAA team and was roundly mocked for it, but those guys can hit. If they had a bullpen, they'd be a 79-83 team.

We really need to sign a stud to tell the fans we are serious about winning.  Otherwise we can be the next Orioles.

Go get Kyle Tucker and a ace pitcher and a decent closer. Try to win the division

Being .500 basically means you're in the wild card race these days. This team right now is a decent bullpen away from having 65 wins (probably a 75 win team over 162). A reliable closer with a few reliable 7th/8th inning arms, a good starter, and a few decent vets and this team is knocking on the door of .500.

I think this is warranted:

I think Detroit is overperforming a bit but still comfortably the top of the division. I'd say we could battle the Royals for second though. If Cleveland doesn't get Clase back and the Twins sell Lopez and/or Ryan, they are both leapfroggable.

Sox, Twins, and Guards have the exact same expected wins of 63 right now, we're just weighed down by a ton of brutal 1 run losses. Some modest improvement and starting the season with more guys whose best days are ahead of them rather than behind should get you closer.

How many first half close losses would have been more winnable with Colson at the plate in place of Rojas/Capra/Amaya/etc.?

Yeah, you mentioned that 5 comebacks in a row hadn’t been done since 1986. I was just adding that the 6 comebacks in a row had never been done in franchise history.

I'm not expecting too much next year because I dont expect JR let Getz sign anyone beyond a 1 year contract in 2026 because there will probably be a labor impasse leading to a strike and players with multiyear contracts will get paid during a strike. JR wont want to do that at this point in his life .If no revenue is coming in he won't want to be paying players for not playing.

Please spend money

From my experience the teams always have to sign off on uniforms designed by the uniform suppliers and these may have been done in-house or at least a collab with Nike.

I do agree they aren’t good.

Exactly correct unfortunately.

How bout those White Sox?? The offense is resembling '77, baby. Run after run against the AL Central. We need those new owners to take over now, buy some talent to go with Colson the Magnificent and win some pennants. Go Sox! Go Bro Rice!

Tucker, Diaz, and a starting pitcher and this team looks a lot better.

The haters werent expecting the Sox to be this good so soon.  Playoffs next year for sure with Colton leading us

There should be another name for us besides 'haters.' We deserve to have great anger toward the Sox for what they've put on the field for many years. We ain't haters; we are raters. And we rated the team F for a long time.
