Meh. Unlikely to be anything, but gives Fuller the ultimate project. If he fixes Kelenic, he’s The One.

I'll accept failure with Kelenic in exchange for many many Mune-shots. Fuller might bolt the Sox for a much higher paying position if Kelenic, Mune, Colson , Teel, Quero, Baldwin, Vargas , Sosa, Meidroth and Braden Montgomery all continue progression. That would surely be akin to divine intervention. Pope Ball.

Hill isn’t guaranteed to survive the 40-man this offseason. Peters and Pereira aren’t blocking anyone. Plus, someone posted here that Getz made it sound like Benintendi was getting more DH at bats.

I think it still has more to do with Montgomery being close and Robert still being around.  Ideally, you would want to acquire a CF assuming you are trading Robert and Montgomery will be up soon for RF but there are no decent CF available.

If they move Robert now, I would think Baldwin is the starter, Hill continues to be the backup, and Pereira is option number 3.

Yeah, in all seriousness, this screams a team that WANTS to trade Luis Robert, because they are absolutely hoarding 4A OFs.

Yeah, there does seem to be a lot building up. Granted, maybe some of the MiLB signings can become free agents after camp.

Some weirdo was harassing Harold on here, constantly making comments about Jeep Wranglers.  Then some other psycho poster (probably an alt account for the other guy) basically confronted Harold and accused him of being the White Sox’s assistant scouting director who also happens to own a Jeep dealership.  Unclear the truth of that, but doesn’t seem crazy given the inside info Harold had shared on this site.  Also, based on what the psycho guy was saying in his accusations, he was either Haber himself or had a close relationship with Haber and held some sort of grudge against Harold, although I can’t recall if it was simply because he didn’t like him leaking White Sox business or something deeper & more personal.  And shortly after the more direct accusations, Harold was gone forever and now we rely on the Times for India for our scoops.

You nailed it.  The poster(s) that potentially outed him were “Downtown Brown” and “ChicagoSoxMan”.  He accused Harold of being Garrett Guest, the Sox current Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting and owner of South Oak Jeep Dodge Ram Chrysler.  Both accounts are gone now but were likely the same person as you said.  Dude absolutely loved his Jeeps.  I assume that’s why he was always trolling Harold about owning and driving Jeeps, but maybe he figured out Harold’s identity because he bought one from him?  🤣

There is already a roster squeeze in the outfield as it is.  If Robert gets moved soon, maybe they add an outfielder.

Peters has options and Hill is a Robert insurance policy IMO, so not too worried if we lose him when we option him to Charlotte.  There is certainly room for one more OF, especially if Benintendi is going to be used in the DH spot a lot.

Agreed.  I think Pereira would also play some RF until Montgomery is ready.

Until he BOOMs his foot kicking a cooler.

Yep. Not only does he stink on the field, he's a crap team mate. Nobody in Seattle liked him, they just tolerated him for a while. When he had the cooler incident nobody stood up for him and everybody just said it was a moronic stupid selfish thing.

This sounds like something from a Tim Robinson show.

Exactly.  Insert Jeeps in place of Tecca Chairs.  🤣

He also ran a Jeep Tour company in that show prior to getting obsessed with Tecca. It's like Tim Robinson himself was harassing Harold.

lol…it certainly was fascinating.  Downtown Brown was making the weird Jeep comments for months, but I don’t think anyone here really understood the point of them until the other dude came in and tried to out (or pretend out) Harold in a very direct manner.  The fact we may have had one former Sox employee engaging in cyber warfare on Soxtalk against a current Sox employee is incredible.
