April 30Apr 30 He has a herniated disc. FFS man. Oh well at least we got something for him. He's done.

The years of playing through injuries just fried Eloy, Yoan, TA, and Luis. It's why waiting years to trade him was always stupid. Dude had an injury history going all of the way back to Rookie ball.

April 30Apr 30 And to think people wanted to keep him. This is what Robert is. The guy just simply cannot stay healthy.

Robert sounds like he's cooked. A bad disc? He'll be lucky to get a MLB gig next year if he can't workout for 6 months.

I'd rather bet on him being a somewhat valuable player than whatever we'd get.

He could well be standing in a hole of his own making.

Solid in the playoffs.Knee and arm issues, and is kind of an odd guy. The other injury risk the Sox acrually maxed the value was Crochet. He was always hurt, then miraculously was great as a starter for about half a season, while just getting through the second half. Got a haul for him, had a great year, but now hurrt again, and probably not the same moving forward, but he got $170 million.

Saturday at 08:04 PM5 days He stayed healthy longer than I expected. Too bad the Sox hung on to him so long. Glad the whole group is gone.

The league just told you what Robert is worth. Holding him into the season would be insane. He'll be hurt again. He's unreliable and I'm glad it's over. Boy you pretty much nailed this situation.
