They continued to say any negotiations with the Bears were not a priority again this year. Until the Bears brought in Indiana. Even with nationwide 5% billionaire taxes instituted overnight, you can't balance any budgets without touching capital gains and real estate wealth. Costs are rising for everyone, sure, but disproportionately impacting the Bottom 80% of Americans or Illinois residents. In the end, it's capitalism/profits and Indiana might just get rewarded for being in a better overall situation financial health and investment-wise.
