White Sox @ Guardians 5:40 PM: Martin vs Cecconi

More baffling bullpen decisions. Eisert should never have been in the 7th, and asking Taylor to get a two out save with a relatively fresh bullpen makes no sense at all.

WTF. Did you see their June schedule by chance?

  • I know Dominguez didn't pitch today or yesterday, but damn that is an epic fail to sign a guy to be your closer and he isn't used at any point in a pretty important game. Just damn.

f*** off Will

idk who else he could've used there, our pitchers just have no balls in close/late situations

I hate Cleveland. So much.

Why nit Seranthony in the 8th vs the bottom of their order? Seems like a perfect spot for him

The $64,000 question that we ALL wonder, yet the team continues with nonsensical use of both guys.

This isn't the part of the order you'd want a lefty to face even though I think Hudson is probably going to be about neutral on balance as far as platoon splits. He looked bad yesterday though so probably was getting a mandatory day off.

He really just missed it but the thing with Cleveland is they will get every break, that's how they win every year despite being not very good.

They usually win cause their bullpen is good

They left a lot of runs out there and pitched very sloppy. Rough end man, didn’t think Taylor had it in the second inning and Venable was caught flat footed

Sox have 18 blown saves this year btw

If we don’t get swept it’ll be a miracle.

Get a grip.

Exactly. Why Eisert? What is Venable doing?

Martin didn’t even make it out of the 3rd man. You’re going to go pretty deep into the pen when that happens.

They didn't even trust him to pitch the 8th today lol.

Vs the bottom of the order. Need to go get a real closer before the deadline, IMO.

How about the guy who thinks he can be a starter not completely fall apart in the 2nd inning of his outings?

Let's not overreact. We have win a lot of games that way this year. But we need some pen help and 1 more starter.

I say that somewhat facetiously, but we are not playing great baseball recently.

Domínguez wouldn’t even have been ready if the first two got on base. Venable just isn’t very good at this.

Yeah and you're here for all of them, just none of the wins cause they're less funny I guess

Well f*** me. Got to get some bullpen help

Need to get starters and bullpen, our pitching overall is trash

Think Newcomb screwed them today.

That is a crazy stat. How many of those turned into losses?

Hudson. I don’t care how he liked yesterday. Eisert is opener only and not even that n a good team.

1?

Tough one. Guards didn't really earn it, just gave them way too many free runners.

I think Taylor would be fine if they just let him pitch the 9th. Him pitching multiple innings is no bueno.
