Sunday at 09:31 PM1 day Post em up folks! Let’s get to know the young man who just may end up becoming the next great Chicago White Sox player for our franchise. He’s already a household name! LETS FUCKING GO!!!!!Starting it off here is a video of him facing off against Trevor Bauer which I found really insightful into Roch and his mental approach during an at bat.
Sunday at 10:04 PM1 day Author Here’s a clip of him cutting down a runner at home with an insane relay throw:
Sunday at 11:08 PM1 day If I was in his shoes I'd set aside a couple million for private coaches and not trust the organization to help him reach his potential. Spend a couple hours chatting with Andrew Vaughn about what can go wrong.

Yesterday at 05:40 AM1 day Author Random often untold fact about Roch: On his wrist he has a predominant tattoo of a Roman numeral XXI, 21, representing the honor of a former travel ball teammate that passed away. His friend wore number 21 and Roch wanted to “take him with him”.Wonder if he brings that number with him in Chicago or if his sticks with the number 1 jersey he sported at UCLA.

I was pretty impressed at how quickly he picked up the slider spin. That's something your average MLB hitter struggles at. His improvement over the last time he faced Bauer is pretty drastic too. He went from whiffing on Bauer's slider to hitting it for a homer.

If the league hadn’t unjustly black balled him, he would be a serviceable to good starting pitcher still.I’m sure of it.The showing for Roch here was very impressive.

Teams just don’t like his attitude or personality.

When I see him in videos like this, he seems like a good dude. But there’s no way all the reports on his attitude/personality/behavior are just smoke.

Certainly a contrast with Caleb Wilson, I don't really prefer either type. Rose was reserved but a quiet assassin, there's more than one way to lead.

I like to think Gavin telling the dugout "we got a hitting coach in the stands" was the moment the org realized that it's time to embrace the TTO era -- swing hard in case you hit it.

It was why teams couldn't wait to trade him, even when he was good. Now he is still the same person and not at all good. He's toast.

He was emotional when he was selected, but, as a kid from Arizona, he might not be entirely down with playing in a city where the temperatures get pretty chilly and damp in the Spring and Fall. However, Spring training in Glendale will be nice and convenient for him. Hard to project him, but if he lives up to the hype, he could be competing for the starting SS position sometime next season. All of a sudden the Sox have almost too much infield talent - more than they can deploy within the 26 man roster restriction.
