No. Apple TV is it's own separate app like Netflix, Hulu, etc.

"The start of the second half could be dangerous for a Sox team that has been insatiable at home (31-17) but toothless on the road (19-28). I have not been to the Rogers Centre but it looks fantastic on TV and Toronto fans rave about it. I would love to see a retractable roof stadium for the White Sox after so many years of bad weather conditions/cancellations It would be great to actually be able to buy tickets and plan ahead without being concerned about a game being postponed or having to sit in rainy, cold or steaming hot conditions. So glad the upcoming games are in Toronto instead of in the oppressive heat/possible rain in Chicago. Who wants to go outdoors in this weather and no, I would not go to the Sox game if they were playing in these conditions at home.

It's really nice. I went like 25 years ago tho, not sure how it's aged but sounds like it's held up. One thing is it doesn't feel like a dome, not quite as advanced as the roof at T-Mobile, but similar.

Saw the very first game played there. Blue Jays vs the Brewers. I think it was ‘89. It was the SkyDome then.

I've been there. like you it was over 20 years ago. It had and probably still has an artificial surface. I personally prefer Grass.

That was a long damn four days. Kinda glad starting in Toronto where the air quality shouldn’t be a problem, especially since Chicago Fire game got postponed for it

Apple TV has a lot of good s%*# that will keep you occupied for a month after tonight's game. I recommend Silo (Sci-Fi/Dystopian), Severance (Thriller/Mystery), Ted Lasso (Soccer Comedy/Drama and new season Aug 5th)

Helpful info but not a chance in hell I'm signing up for another streaming service to watch Ted Lasso and a couple WS games. I'll be watching via other means. No pause or DVR like MLB.tv but free and with zero chance I forget to cancel a sub next month.

Go Sox. Interesting the way they decided to order the SP. I'd have come out guns blazing with Burke, but so far most things they've done have turned out well, we'll see how Kay does tonight.

I don't know how into TV shows you are, but they currently make the best quality shows on AppleTV and it's not even close. They've lapped HBO several times currently. So much good s%*# on AppleTV.

90% of what I watch is sports. The remaining 10% is torrented. I'm not a big TV or Film guy, not really my thing. Rather play some OOTP or Football Manager to kill a few hours.

Gonna start the second half off right with a banger from MVP Baseball 2005! Sucks Iguchi wasn't in the game but it's my favorite baseball game of all time. Also, I couldn't find the version of the song I remember. I swear it went right into "I've got a funny little feeling" after the intro but I could be wrong. I have lost a lot of brain cells since 2005 lol

Stunned no roster moves before today’s game.

Toronto RHP Spencer Miles isn't a true starter (3 starts in 26 appearances) but a swing guy who can go ~4 innings if needed. He has a heavy sinker that generates plus ground ball rates.

The hope is that our lefty heavy lineup can get to him before he settles in too much and put some pressure on the Toronto pen for the rest of the series.

The Sox saw him in the April series, where he pitched 2 scoreless innings (2 H, 2 K) in a 3-0 Sox win.

I might be in the minority, but I liked the drunk uncle version of Plesac better than the toned down version we're getting this year. Would have gotten old if he announced the whole season, but I thought it was fun for a three game series. Bill Walton vibes without going off the deep end. But I get why they told him to tone it down. Probably shouldn't be saying Louie Roberts the Second or whatever he called him haha
