Good to see Mune getting on twice so far…hopefully he can get that HR streak going again

  • Schultz is making his 12th career start. Forest through the trees.

  • I’d love to see a skit of John Rocker mentoring Kumar Rocker on how to be a big league pitcher.

This seems like an overreaction to a potential second loss in their last 8 games? Nothing about this team suggests that they are one loss or one injury away from losing their vibes.

Schultz' ERA approaching 6 now, at some point, you have to adjust something staff wise.

He's got other issues too, but his sweeper/slider reminds me of Crochet's before they made him basically ditch it for a cutter.

Murakami usually doesn't go homerless for 8-10 games...but his dingers come in bunches usually.

Cam Cauley sounds like a ranch hand character in "Shane."

At the very least, give him an opener.

Yeah, he may need an opener or something to shake it up a little.

Why though if you get someone with 3 years controllable in the rotation?

Because need to develop our own pitching, he’s 22 years old, and it’s year one of our competitive window. I could see the argument for moving Hagen, but you don’t give up a top prospect after 11 major league starts.

Well this is going to be another one of those games

48 pitches through 4 innings for Kumar Rocker. The same Kumar who had given up 10 ER in his last 2 starts (10 IP).

Still don’t think you score many runs in any game with a lineup of Acuna and Romo stalling things at the bottom of the order. For as well as people say Acuna has been playing I just don’t see it.

Interestingly with Noah the stuff models all really like his slider but IMO it's been the pitch giving him the most trouble. My gut feeling is teams have scouted something that makes it easier to pick it up or know it's coming ahead of time. Hopefully whatever it is, it's something Noah can counteract.

They have one hit. It's the typical game after scoring double digit runs. It literally never fails this year.

He has been playing well, but as I like to say, when you take out someone like Colson, the lineup gets too slappy. Hard to consistently score runs with 3 home run threats in the lineup.

Romo fails to challenge strike 3 ☹️

If the Sox have become so good at developing hitting, why not continue doing that and acquire pitching via trades and free agency? Kinda similar to what the Cubs did under Theo. Also, not talking about doing all this right now, but during this upcoming window.

That ball 3 was a strike

0-2 then whack

You’ve got to send him down after this

Noah hasn't had all bad luck this year but he's had horrible luck today.

Can’t believe Schriff-dog biffed the nacho sombrero

Game is over.

WHIP taking an absolute beating tonight, and not due to walks.

Yes and had he not had that awful challenge before maybe you could challenge that. I tend to give guys a long runway before making a decision on them but it is baffling to me that Romo has had as much playing time as he has had this year.

Leave him out there with just 58 pitches?

Schultz has to be sent down he's not that good right now. When you give up Constant Contact batted ball luck is not an excuse in my opinion.

I cannot watch this dude pitch, brutal man, enjoy the blowout boys!!
