3 hours ago3 hr Sweet Jesus what the hell are they waiting for to get Noah off the mound? For Texas to score 10 runs?

He's getting hit all over the park, and logged 80 pitches for 11 outs and 11 hits surrendered, 2 strikeouts. This won't work, he needs either an opener, or something to throw off the current trajectory.I don’t see anyway he makes another start for the Sox this year while still in the race
3 hours ago3 hr It's getting to the point where I hope we don't score double digits so we actually score something the next game.
3 hours ago3 hr Whatever. Replace him with Sandlin, win the series tomorrow, and get some help via trade this week or next.

3 hours ago3 hr Sox have to self-scout to figure out why batters know what pitch is coming from Noah. AAA hitters had absolutely no chance against his breaking pitches and it has been very, very different in MLB even though the slider grades out as a plus-plus pitch by movement. And it's such a fastball-heavy approach at this point there's no way they're just guessing right based on pitch sequences. As a side point, I don't know why he's been so reliant on the 4-seamer in the majors when that was never his main fastball in the minors.

3 hours ago3 hr Schultz has had his chances. Yea send him down, but maybe he won'3 minutes ago, Autumn Dreamin said:Schultz had a 2.35 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in Charlotte with 34K in 23 inningsI'm not sure what benchmarks you would use for him improving down thereI am a real fan of Noah Schultz and think his dad is the best... but I am now wondering whether Noah has what it takes to pitch in the Majors - the ability to locate pitches in order to execute a game plan. Really disappointed in Noah and Teel. The good vibe that the team had going seems to have ended abruptly.
3 hours ago3 hr Yep, when the Sox scored double digits last night, I knew we'd be screwed for today, on top of not having Colson and KyleWouldn't be shocked if they get shut out

3 hours ago3 hr I see we continue the time-honored tradition of trying to find meaning in the mostly meaningless day to day variations in production at the plate

So I don't know how I feel about using him in a trade since I have a feeling I'll be disappointed in how much value you'd get back.
