Sean Burke vs. Sonny Gray. Going to be a fantastic pitching matchup. Team should be hungry after its ass whipping yesterday. Burke is also from Massachusetts so I’d expect he’ll be amped up pitching in front of friends & family. It’s going to feel like a playoff game tonight.

I flew into Boston last night with the wife & eldest son and will be in attendance. I refuse end the day without a White Sox win.

Since June 1st, Davis Martin has a 6.82 ERA. Removing last night's debacle it's still 5.87. Is Jose Urquidy ready? Need Burke to keep ascending tonight!

I'm thinking that tonight might be our best chance for a win, unless Castillo reverts to past form.

Looks like two good 5 inning starts for Urquidy so far but he’s not striking enough batters out.

Haha not at all, but Martin has been brutal. Woulda been nice to get a league average starter at the TDL.

I looked at Urquidy for possible help at #5 with Noah scuffling, not at #1/2 for Martin.

How about trying an opener for Martin before the IL ? In both the Yankee & Red Sox games he struggled big time in the first inning.

Was having the same thought last night. Hopefully this tipping stuff is the issue, but it's been a trend for months now. Boston is also good, so there's that. If we can hang on to the division I feel like Will is going to be forced to do some opener tricks to start games in the playoffs anyway.
