2026, as great of a season as it has been, is still a developmental season. Quero clearly isn’t as far along as some of his teammates.

Agreed, but I think they want him gone. Teel should finally be healthy and they have another year of control on Bart. The Sox won’t be spending much money after the Castillo acquisition so I would put my money on Getz trading Quero for what he needs. This trade deadline was quite literally half of our 2027 offseason.
