If I was a hitting guy I'd be very interested in working with him in a low stakes environment because there are some serious physical gifts in there. But for the Sox right now constantly needing to put him out there against left-handed starters and not getting anything out of it, they can't really wait around for something to click anymore. If they really believe in him, try to pick some time when you think teams aren't paying attention to the waiver wire and see if you can get him to AAA.

I'd be telling him to let it rip even more so that the tappers turn into whiffs. Or alternately, bat left-handed so the tappers can be infield hits!
