Just make postseason and the year is a raging success. Would hate for them not to make it after being in such good position and lose fan momentum heading into possible lockout.

I’m having visions of holding up a sign that says “SHUT THE f*** UP” when we record the final out to secure an ALCS championship and World Serious birth.

In reality, if we simply win the division it’s a massive win. 99.9% of White Sox fandom thought this team finishing in this season 10 games under .500 would have been a pipe dream.

It's primarily a quality of contact metric (EV and LA) and more location neutral. Riley's double was hard hit but had more hangtime, and a higher angle hit to the OF will be caught more often than a low liner at 105mph.

Team seems really tired right now. With no break until next Thursday unless they get a rain out, which to me, wouldn't be a bad thing.

They hit some rockets in the first 4 or so innings that were right at people. It was bad luck at first, and then they just kind of sucked in the later part.

You don’t want a rain out with the Mets because then you’re playing a double header. I haven’t looked at the Rangers schedule but if one of those is a rainout then you’re, at best, losing your Thursday off day or a double header. Only three off days left in the season.

Thanks. Kay pitching another good game is just as good as the inverse for the poor offense at least.

No real enthusiasm in the crowd either. Feel like day games in the fall will be tough because of school. Less raucous atmosphere

Sunday rain out would be ideal. Game woudl likely be made up September 28 or, better yet, would just be canceled as there is no significance to it.

1)I was afraid of a letdown after the last 2 series. The team looked flat. 2) After getting the first 2 runners on in the 7th inning with nobody out I thought Braden Montgomery would bunt and sacrifice the runners. Maybe he doesn't know how to bunt.
