A bunch of guys that are just 2 WAR players at best when healthy. We had a lot more pitching at our peak but still.

Monday at 07:44 PM5 days Samuel Basallo is going to be a tremendous catcher for the O’s. I’d take him.
Monday at 07:51 PM5 days Guardians should be on their way to losing 5 in a row. Fucking Detroit. Edited Monday at 07:51 PM5 days by PaleAleSox
Monday at 07:55 PM5 days I have no idea why some are so afraid of Cleveland. They had one good streak against the worst teams in baseball, otherwise they’re mediocre at best. Just take care of our business.

Monday at 08:02 PM5 days Rogers is a guy the Sox should be targeting in free agency. Peripherals are much better than his ERA.

Monday at 08:16 PM5 days Oh Schit!!! I just saw that the O’s are kicking their asses. Sweet 16 here we come!!! GO O’S!!!

Monday at 08:27 PM5 days 2 outs. O’s getting the lefty from the pen to face Bailey. Don’t f*** it up O’s 🤬
Monday at 08:32 PM5 days Those red hot Guardians, who haven’t thrown a pitch with the lead in four games, are stunned by the Orioles today.Edit…make it five games. Edited Monday at 08:33 PM5 days by JTB
Monday at 08:35 PM5 days Toronto play the A's. I'm totally expecting them to sweep. They got Cease going today too.
Monday at 08:57 PM5 days Thank God the Orioles staved off the inevitable Cleveland rally. I'm getting tired of their fraudulent bullshit walkoff wins when they look like garbage for the whole game and then have 1 or 2 good innings and somehow fraud it out. I'm fucking sick of this s%*#....we should be ahead by like 6 or 7 games. At least we picked up that crucial half game today. Thank you, Orioles! At least Elias and Co. aren't totally worthless like the fucking Tigers.Sox back up to 3 game lead over the fraudulent Tribe.

Just take care of our business. It's admittedly super annoying that the Tigers kept up their habit of not holding leads (over 25% of their losses are games where they blew the lead in the 7th or later, 20+ games) and not winning away games against the division (3-19 on the season) but our Sox can benefit from those things too in a couple weeks.Meanwhile, the Guards are .500 since August 1 (including both Detroit's anti-clutch bullpen and that exceptionally soft patch vs. the Rockies/Angels) which has netted them no ground in the standings. So like you said, just take care of business. 37 games left between theirs and ours, 16 going the right way gets the job done. Win the tiebreaker and hopefully the series next week and it removes a lot of the sweat factor.
Monday at 09:37 PM5 days ESPN has our Sox' chance of post season at 87.9%I'm sure they give our Sox very low odds to win their first ever World Series though.

I think there was a bug because they gave Cleveland a .562 win% the rest of the year and just corrected it to .532.
Monday at 10:36 PM5 days Think the highest we had was last week at 9 over at 90.2 on ESPN and 90% on FG. So losing those 3-4 in Houston didn't hurt us much. Really we should have swept the Twins with any situational hitting or pitching in game 2 of that series but water under bridge now.I think 85 wins will take division. We basically just need to play .500 and not s%*# the bed in the Tribe series.
