It just seems like Sox hitters can never adjust. They don't seem to have any gameplan at the plate from pitcher to pitcher. They just go up there swinging for homeruns every at bat. Ultimately the offensive struggles are on the organization. Lack of quality coaches, lack of preparation, lack of adjustments in approach or swing... The more things change the more they stay the same.

I’m upset as you are especially with the hitting coach and the players, are they watching videos of what they are doing when at the plate as we are seeing some of the most pitiful at bats I’ve seen by big league ballplayers, that AB by CMont on Wednesday was inexcusable and most managers would have sat that clown on the bench for a few games. I thought Meidroth was a pretty smart player but he should be wearing a dunce hat for his pathetic ABs during these last 3 games. The inability to make changes is disturbing, these guys must really be stupid or very stubborn and Venable not to make changes with the lineup must be equally stupid or stubborn.

This team just lost 3 games scoring a grand total of 5 runs on 16 hits, I’m sure Getz has seen the same thing we saw and I think he needs to have a chat with Venable and the hitting coach about making some changes with the lineup and the mindset of the players when at bat.

I heard Derek Shomon say during an in-game interview that he preaches swinging for the fences . that's what he wants his guys to do . if you make contact that's fine, but with a team that misses as much as the Sox do, it's a disaster . also, I don't think that Venable is an idiot . i'm wondering if not changing the lineup comes from orders from above.

Most of the pitching looks like they just ran out of gas.

The hitting looks like they are feeling the pressure.
