So basically Flordia is giving them a prospect and we are sending our top prospect for a guy who might only hit about .250....

Everythings cleared up now and we all appreciate it. The only hangup is where the Rashid dude got his information from. Really, if you do hear more things, post them! It adds the the excitement. I don't think anyones mad at you just because this isn't true, and if they are, they're stupid.

Thats what gets me. The dollar figure makes sense and the contracts seem fair in regards to Wright and Dye's seems reasonable, although a little expensive (not much though as I figure 3-4 mill would be about right for Dye).

 

Then you have to ask yourself would Florida deal Castillo for Lee...YES and it fills a need of power hitting.

 

Would Mil consider dealing Pos for Anderson, I'd say their is a good shot at it. Especially since Florida is helping out too.

Okay, with the Team the Sox have, anyone who wouldn't rather have Podnesidek and Castillo over Anderson and Lee are crazy.

 

The Sox have plenty of power, Rowand, Thomas, Crede, Konerko.

 

The Sox have no 1 and 2 batters and haven't since Tim Raines and Lance Johnson.

The only thing I wouldn't like about this trade is Podsednik and his batting average last year. It's barely better than Joe Crede's. No matter how much speed you have, it's worthless if you can't get on base.

MIL would be trading Pod for Anderson and a FLA prospect...

 

FLA is one of the best farm systems in baseball.

Pod isn't even worth Joe Borchard with a flordia prospect included if he's any good and thats saying something.
