If anyone wants to read something humorous, read Cowleys tweets from the game last night. He clearly thinks Mirotic is nothing more than a project, and says it multiple times in different ways. But when Mirotic started lighting it up, instead of backtracking he started giving him back handed compliments like "what the Bulls have shown is that their 10th man is better than Washingtons 10th man".

I've always liked watching McDermott move without the ball. Last night, there were like 3 times in a few minutes where Brooks was dribbling, drew Doug's guy off and just kept dribbling instead of passing to McBuckets. I was oddly upset cuz I wanted to see him shoot a bunch.

Under 10 per game tops. Probably more like 2-3 on a normal night.

 

You know Butler is going to be in the 35-40 minute range.

 

Thibs also likes using a PG set with Derrick at the two guard. (Kirk and Derrick in the back court)

 

At the three he is going be using Dunleavy and Dougie for the most part. I wouldn't be shocked to see some "big" sets with someone like Gasol and Noah up front, and someone like Taj at the 3.

Brooks was great at the end. Sucks that Nazr decided to shoot the last 8 shots rather than passing to McDermott.
