If any other manager in Sox history was as far under .500 as RV he'd have been fired last offseason. But, it's RV, White Sox hero and all around nice guy. Does Robin own any fedoras? Did his wife friend zone him at first?

Even if Sale was on tonight, the Sox have 2 runs. The offense needs to get goimg.

The offense is constructed like an NL team that plays 81 games at PetCo. They put way too much stock into Avi hitting 25 homers.

It's going to be real interesting to see what the Sox record is when they get back from the 11-game road trip on June 4th. I'd probably give Robin that much time to get the ship on course, even though I think he's terrible.

If they're buried in a month, drastic changes will have to be made, if Reinsdorf allows them.

12 runs to the Twins bullpen ERA rising also. Mauer just kills the Sox.

Scary to think Petricka was actually relied on last year. He has a severe lack of a second pitch.

Or just try flipping Choo and Nelson Cruz.

Andrus has been awful.

Beltre...not sure whats up with him, but they are getting production out of Fielder.

Im sure DA cant list a single member of their starting rotation who is healthy without looking it up.

Profar is out as well. Darvish, of course, the biggest loss...their Chris Sale.

Daniels should be fired first.

You have never used the DL when discussing the White Sox record. 7-14, $132 million payroll, nad. sale has been on the DlL the last 2 years. Abreu was obpn. Paulie was on in 2012 when Youkilis could hardly walk. Those were no excuses. It was all about wins and payroll.

To be fair, if Sale was on tonight, 2 runs is enough. But you are correct that the offense needs to get going.

I actually think Hahn should start over while a completely new, non-Sox related major league staff.

Because it's going to be a lot easier to change the coaches than the players.

If they are so worried about Sale and Rodon going down to elbow surgery they tell Tyler not to call for sliders in key situations...this team wont ever go anywhere. At best, both would be like Francisco Liriano post-surgery with that type of philosophy.

I agree that there is way too much insiderism in this organization. But what you suggest would also require getting rid of Williams because he's the one who has loaded the boat with insiders.

Is that really true? They aren't calling or sliders from those 2? They are worried about a Rodon injury? And what is Sale w/o a slider?

I think theres perhaps just a slight difference between missing the entire season for 3/5ths of a rotation and Chris Sale's time on the DL.

And how much of that payroll is Fielder, Choo, Andrus, Darvish, Beltre and injured pitchers the manager has nothing to do with?

Please find one baseball writer in the whole world who didn't pick Texas last, por favor.

If its 2017 and they're still struggling, he can join Ventura on the hot seat.

The same thing could have been said about previous Sox teams, but that didn't matter. Sorry 7-14 is bum material. Should have hired Gardy they would be 15-6.

Roster meant nothing when evaluating Robin in 2013 and 2014. It was the team's record was all that mattered. Why should this be different?

Better roster, same mistakes. Robin the common element.

Over at SSS one guy mentioned that the Twins broadcast crew was making excuses for the Sox talking about the travel and disjointed series with Baltimore. GMAFB. THIS IS THE TWINS FFS.

You know things are bad with a club when the 2015 Twins are making excuses for you.

I wasn't crazy about how quick Robin was to use the strange atmosphere in Baltimore as an excuse for that turd of a game. Not looking forward to hearing a new excuse for why the team has the same problems game after game after this one.
