But, some of the so called baseball experts were not impressed with him and they turned out to be right. It will be interesting to see just what he gets in that $15.8M range he turned down as a QO amount.

November 14, 201510 yr This was discussed before but I don't remember if anyone confirmed it, but we will have the third pick after the first round. Padres get first 2 with Upton and Kennedy declining. Last year the #10 overall pick had a value of $3,231,300 and picks before #30 have a value of around $2M. The Sox could have about $7.1M to spend on their first four picks (First round, comp pick, second and third rounds) in the draft, going on the values from the 2015 draft.

I'll say on the safe side that 6 teams lose 1st rounders. That gives them the 27th pick.
