Jackson flies open so much on his swing. Looks like he's trying to hit a homer way too much.

Offense from your DH is overrated

Well atleast his struggles shut Scott Merkin up for a little while

nice play abreu

Jays fans are saying Lawrie looks like a crackhead now.

He sure acts like one too! :D

At least Gonzalez can get his velocity up to around 92.

Gonzalez has looked good against everyone except Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion.

He's settling in a bit more... Still haven't seen much I like yet stuff wise.

He's not an overpowering pitcher. His success is from locating his pitches. If he gets squeezed or an inconsistent strike zone he will get hit.

Good news is he didn't let that one inning get out of control like Danks would.

He just needs to walk the big 3 and pray he gets out on the rest of the 6.

Gonzalez has looked good against everyone except Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion.

Those three can put up like 9 runs amongst themselves.

Something going on? Adam giving stroman some stank eye

I think he was giving him props on the pitch.

Our offense looks good for a half of an inning and then goes back to sucking. Last 8 have been retired

The Jays announcers are such homers. Almost as much as Hawk

Oh boy

Stroman cruising now. Offense needs to really pick it up this road trip

Is there any proof that career numbers versus a specific team actually mean anything? Always see them quoted, just seems like it'll mostly be random variance to me, unless they have a consistent offence that has a particular skillset you exploit well

right, only thing he had going for him was being right handed.

Gonzalez actually looks ok he gets more K's than I expected. Just needs to be more careful with the guys that can hurt you.

Someone's getting tossed today. I knew after 5 pitches today that this plate ump wasn't having his best night

Him and Latos look similar at first glance. Decent movement, not overwhelming stuff or control. Thing is, this lineup is legit.

Why the f*** would you throw three straight curveballs to Jose Bautista?

went to the well too many times.

I like Navarro's snap throws after pitches. As long as he doesn't throw them away

Asking myself the same on the curve
