  1. Rough inning for Foster, but nice close. And the Tribe lose again. Six games!
  2. Just our luck. Houston gets red hot going into our series, and is ice-cold going into the one with Cleveland.
  3. We just cannot make it easy for us, can we? Christ.
  4. Today's not too bad. Tomorrow through Monday....grab a Dasani.
  5. Minus the complete circus act by Cease on what should've been an easy double play, he had a very strong outing with his arm. The bats need to come alive back home.
  6. Ineptitude is one thing. This was shit effort, and they need to be lit up for it. What a garbage performance this week. Garbage.
  7. Good Lord, this series has been a fucking nightmare. The only successful hitter has been my head against the wall. Christ. Get a fucking grip. This is embarrassing
  8. We held onto the best record in baseball for all of like 18 hours...
  9. It doesn't help us that Baltimore laid over and died against Cleveland. 3.5 games.
  10. That's the downside of being in a really bad division. Cleveland only has to suck less than the Tigers, Royals and Twins and they can keep pace. Helps that they've managed to have our number recently.
  11. Yeah, it is really shitty timing that we play back to back series with the Rays and Astros. Two of the top teams in baseball. Meanwhile the Indians play back to back series with the O's and Pirates. Two of the worst teams in baseball.
  12. The Sox are getting cheated out of the dub.
  13. I'll gladly take 3/4. Detroit's overall bad, but they were on a bit of a streak coming into this series. Definitely a big series win to get back on track after the Indians series was looking bleak. Really tough stretch coming up with 10 of the next 13 coming against the Jue Blays, Revil Days and Asstros. Gonna be important to come out of that stretch in good shape.
  14. They blew a 5 run lead in the 8th inning against Texas and then proceeded to go 10-26 after starting the year 23-10. They weren't very good. They weren't 10-26 levels of bad though.
  15. A sweep at the hands of the Yankees with 2 of them coming off of blown relief. Beyond unacceptable.
  16. Uh, hello? *knock knock knock* Hello offense? U up yet?
  17. TLR is effectively the White Sox's Bob Kelso.
  18. That's not true. DUI rarely ever results in a dishonorable. Hell, I've known plenty of people who got DUI's in the military and ended up staying in. It was a running joke that you needed one to make Chief in the Air Force. Yeah, you're gonna be on the shit list, lose rank. If you were a POS before, it could mean the end of your career, but you're probably looking at a general discharge, not a DD. Still angers the f*ck about this, because Jerry should've known how bad the optics would be on this hire as is, and on top of that, he was arrested months ago. Just sell the team dude. You have gotten to the point of endangering the careers of these kids.
  19. Trump essentially has to pray for a furious comeback in Arizona, hold onto GA and try and hold the gap in PA. He loses any of those states, it's pretty much over. Only other possibility, he loses AZ, but wins NV, and it we receive...probably the most fitting outcome for 2020, a 269/269.
  20. I think most on here are just hoping the pieces fit, or else we'll watch Jerry's temple topple over.
  21. Rick Hahn didn't inherit jack. That 2012 team was essentially the remains of the old guard. It was an aging lineup, where the most producing OPS guys were all on the wrong side of 30. Konerko, Rios, AJ and Youkilis were all pretty much fell off after that season, and there was next to no talent to replace it. Hahn inherited one of the worst farms in the system and was urged by Jerry and KW to essentially build the team from the ground up and keep competing. Took them 3 goddamn years to finally commit to rebuilding.
  22. I can't imagine why anybody would think this wasn't poorly managed by RR. If you're going into your pen in the first inning, your strategy is bad. Period. You can't expect a pen to stretch that far into a game. I get there was a lot of things that Ricky couldn't control, like the injuries (seriously, the f*ck did we do to anger the baseball gods?) and Abreu suddenly stranding his teammates at sea over and over again, but he did his bullpen zero favors with his "throw sh*t at the wall and see what sticks" arm strategy.
