I guess after Dunn is gone you could move him to DH. He's not putting up terrible numbers (112 OPS+), but its going more, and more, downhill every year. They would have just as big a problem as the White Sox would have in replacing Youkilis. (could be the ultimate deal killer). They could wait out one more year and make a run at Chase Headley or David Wright. No need to do it 2013. He's likely to still have an above average year. At the end of the day, I'm not sure they'd get a taker at anything less than them picking up $80-$100 million of the $114 million in salary and $20 million of the $30 million in marketing bonuses. I would hate to think we would satrt giving up young talent again for a player on the decline. But, I don't see the Yankees doing this. If it did I would imagine you would have a reenergized A-Rod for at leat one year. He could put up some real good numbers but would it last the term of his contract?
