  1. Past hour

  2. Really interesting statistics here to keep in mind as we potentially transition from being sellers to buyers.
  3. Yep, in 1999 with Boras demanding a higher signing bonus. Then the Scrubs drafted him the following year.
  4. You're not wrong. He's only played for one full season basically. He needs to show that he can be consistently good.
  5. Another potential slump thwarted. Really love this team.
  6. Torens is amazing defensively. But I don't think he'd fix our hitting issues at the position.
  7. I think I've read a few times that once a "rumor" is being reported as "sides have engaged" or as somebody's name came up, it's already dead.
  8. Aint no dang College kid gonna take over for the White Sox HOF shortstop!
  9. Right? They’ve got 2 RHH OFs on rehab assignments
  10. Today

  11. I’ve always questioned how he was anointed after less than 1 season. We shall see, but Roch is the future SS
  12. Not a good look, but we still have Boston Smith that guy at AA?
  13. Good news if you asked me. At least the top 5 aren’t going
  14. I think they run out the clock with Hays's rehab assignment, they look for a trade partner, and if they hit that date with no roster spot for Hays then they will just cut him.
  15. I believe they are both out of options. So, one comes up and the other? Stays on rehab assignment for as long as is allowed? Back to the IL on a new fake injury? Dfa? Traded is my guess. I think Pereira joins the active roster and Hays is traded before the deadline.
  16. 658 ops probably pretty close to his Sox average actually 709 with Sox Andrew Vaughn has a batting average of .248 with 557 hits, 77 home runs, 293 RBIs and 247 runs scored in 610 games for the White Sox in his career
  17. Nice last MLB at bat, I guess. At least last MLB AB for now.
  18. Mune Vargas and Vasil will be the stars Antonacci and Chase the comic relief
  19. This is what I'm talking about
  20. Yankees 729 ops vs lhp on season 732 vs. rhp White Sox 710 vs lhp, 728 vs rhp, 723 overall updated mlb.com 730 vs 728 overall
  21. José Urquidy with an ERA of 6.57 and 6 strikeouts in 3 appearances versus the Yankees in his career, three appearances in 22/23
  22. Soto trade for Gore Wood Abrams Hassell Susana (top 100) says hello Mune would be 8th at a .921 ops, but just 2.1 fWAR Alvarez would be MVP and still might despite Houston record/DH role...Caminero right there with him, W.Contreras third? Soto on IL, NL MVP wide open Shohei Ohtani -317 Pete Crow-Armstrong +352 Kyle Schwarber +2930 On-Base Plus Slugging 1 Yordan Alvarez DH 1.074 2 James Wood RF .953 3 Juan Soto LF .947 4 CJ Abrams SS .940 5 Willson Contreras 1B .935 6 Pete Crow-Armstrong CF .933 7 Ben Rice 1B .930 8 Junior Caminero 3B .915 9 Kyle Schwarber DH .909 10 Shohei Ohtani DH .907
  23. need is pushing it with a 2 1/2 game lead just don't get swept
  24. Please don't start this bum against the Yankees. Unlike some I think the Sox shouldn't just be happy to be here, they need to win this series.
