I can see average being something where you could say, “guys with this hit tool have a median average of (blah).” So that I get. I’m more saying you can’t reliably say just because a player has X average they have X hit tool.

Agreed. Most of us hate bunting but that’s cuz it’s a low percentage play. Braden laid down that bunt to perfection. I have no problem with good bunters bunting. I just hope Venable doesn’t force weak bunters to bunt depending on the situation.

Yea, I get it… I also understand that sometimes Will tends to put bench players into a game to try keeping them fresh. With nobody out and the bases loaded, it’s as good a time as any to try and put a young kid in with a chance of boosting their confidence.
