  1. Past hour

  2. Due to his Wrigley Field ban Fat Sandberg will be taking on all comers at Franksville on Harlem & Addison.
  3. I was at the Rate for Cubs v Sox this year, Cubs fan stops in the aisle on his walk up to hit on my wife, who he thought was married to my Cubs fan buddy sitting on the other side of her. I told him to keep walking and he said "meet me on the concourse." Guy was probably mid 50s and 165 lbs soaking wet, even Cubs fans in our section were chirping at him to shut up. Some guys are just idiots.
  4. This crap is exactly why I quit going to Cubs/Sox games. The last one I went to was the Ray Durham winner in like 14 or 15 innings. There was two fights by where we were, and then it finished off with two women fighting after their boyfriends had spent the whole game s%*# talking each other. People can handle their alcohol, plus a rivalry equals not worth it.
  5. There is actually only one important line in this post… Scott. Considering where it’s placed here on the board, you get it. 🔥👌🏼
  6. Don't the Sox still have like half a million left in this year?
  7. I will NEVER sit in those bleachers but if I ever stepped foot in Wrigley with hi8is jr and any moronic Fubs fans crossed him, they would be met with my forehead. The headbutt is a long forgotten art that needs to be brought back.
  8. Likely was planned and the reason we were able to get such a talent who was willing to sign in a late round. Cost of doing business nowadays when it comes to pitchers. Better now than later.
  9. I found this interesting; AH is the getting the lobbyists, with 4 firms. I have no clue who Iman Jalali is on X. Iman Jalali @Stealx ·Watch what they do, not what they say. I think the Bears are fully committed to making Arlington Heights their new home and here's why. I've been researching the paper trail. It all starts with CBFC Development LLC, the Chicago Bears Football Club/CFBC and their legal filings Chicago: lobbying activity has collapsed since 2024 and is nearly nonexistent in 2026 Indiana: Lobbying tied to Indiana only started in January 2026, single firm Arlington Heights: 4 incredibly well-connected and experienced firms, Point of Difference and Government Solutions Group specifically. They literally have the best lobbyists in the state to get the votes they need. They’ve hired people who cover both sides of the aisle in both the House and the Senate. Spring 2026 - In principle, IL House and Senate were there, but two versions of the bill were a sign of bad political wrangling and so it never got done. June 2026 - Pritzker basically outright tells them to improve their ground game in Springfield Since then the Bears have done exactly that and with Goodell recently meeting with a few IL lawmakers. I believe we’re actually closer than they’re making us believe we are. And say what you want about Pritzker, I have a hard time believing he wants to be remembered as the governor who let the Chicago Bears move to Indiana. I don't see it happening. And if I’m wrong and they move to Indiana, I can promise you this, my heart will be broken and my days of being a Bears fan are over. I can’t take it.
  10. Today

  11. Alright Peters time to show why you are the best center fielder in this city.
  12. I'm sorry.....I can't do that, Kyle.
  13. Take me off your subscription list right now
  14. SHOOT-OUTS? Hmmmmm... How about instead of extra innings, each team gets to select a batter and a pitcher (someone from the same team), and, with lobbed pitches, whichever batter hits the most homers out of ten pitches, their team wins?
  15. At least a 70 grade name there....go get Raider.
  16. I just want to state for the record that I respect and admire our robot overlords and whole heartedly disagree with this disturbing take by Kyyle23.
  17. Just like it’s not fair to make players read if a pitch is .1 inches off.
  18. Whatever it was, they were nowhere to be found when Fat Sandberg went into capsized-tortoise mode
  19. Umps will still make the strike calls. It just takes their judgement away. I don't know why umps wouldn't want that. It takes so much pressure off them. And it's honestly not fair to expect humans to read if a pitch is 0.1 inches out of the zone.
  20. M*****f**k him and John Wayne!
