Guess Who's Back, Back Again
Quero Time, let's go !! Haase is hitting .381 in 6 games at Charlotte.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
Kind of think something will come out in a few years about them cheating.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
Listening to the game testerday DJ was shocked how every Red Sox batter was able to foul off every high fastball, no matter how much velocity it had on it.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again
I agree on Quero, it’s too early to give up on him. I don’t know what went wrong with him this year and hopefully they can fix him.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again
Quero is 23 years old and could benefit from an offseason program and more development time in Charlotte. I’m ok with a Teel & Bart platoon to start the season with Edgar in AAA serving as the #3. Romo just can’t be part of the plan. I get the pitching staff must love throwing to him and he’s probably a clubhouse guy, but the dude can’t hit a lick and isn’t elite behind the plate.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again
Next year with a healthy Teel and Bart we should never see Romo again in a White Sox uniform, I guess we have to keep Quero as an insurance policy down in Charlotte.

That was a nail biter, playoff atmosphere ball game. I am proud of the fight the Sox put up, I love this team.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
To me, it's more that the Sox pitching isn't great and it's gotten smacked around by good offensive teams. Sox also have a stark home vs road split, and they're offense is 10 wRC+ points better at home than on the road. We wouldn't call them cheaters though, but teams who cheat tend to do so in their own ballpark. The Red Sox have the opposite split, they've been a much better offense on the road than at home. I'm skeptical that some team has an elaborate road cheating scheme.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
Are the White Sox cheating?!?! They were projected to win 64 games and they're on pace to win in the mid 80's with a plus plus offense!!
-
Are the Red Sox cheating?
Apparently so is every other team the Red Sox have played for the last 36 games.

What a game! Number10 is just a baseball player, every aspect of the game.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
Whatever they are doing and unfortunately because I hate anything Boston it has to be one of the most amazing turnarounds I’ve ever seen going from 14 games under .500 to 12 over in a relatively short time. We had the misfortune of playing the Red Sox 6 games while they are on an historic hot as hell run, too bad we didn’t play them in late April and May.

If Teel had been healthy all year it probably would have made quite a difference. Teel and Bart should be a pretty good tandem next year providing Teel’s injuries don’t have a lasting effect on him, being young, he should be OK.

Are the Red Sox cheating?
Think he’s talking about more than the last 3 games.

Does danny mendick actually exist?
Yep, I've seen him on stream this week coaching against Kannapolis.

Does danny mendick actually exist?
Wikipedia says "In 2025, Mendick was hired as a coach for the Florida Complex League Rays, the rookie-level affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.[24] In 2026, Mendick was hired as the manager of the Charleston RiverDogs, the Class A affiliate of the Rays" So presumably he does still exist!

2026 MLB Catch All (Non Sox, Non AL Central)
"Mad Dog" Russo was outraged by the take and responded as such, saying that “this drove me nuts” and labeled it “derogatory.” “Hey Pete, you’re talking to me now about Ruth!” Russo said as he ran through Ruth’s historical numbers. “Nobody hit home runs like Babe Ruth. Say what you want about Ohtani, we understand that he’s a unicorn. Babe Ruth is so good it’s mindboggling. Did you know, Peter Crow-Armstrong, that Babe Ruth hit 27 home runs over 500 feet? Bonds? Never. Not one. … Ruth owned baseball, nobody hit home runs like Ruth! He out-homered leagues! To sit there and say they were pitching underhand, well why didn’t anybody else hit the home runs hitting underhand." nypost.com

Tracy said that they would have used a position player to pitch the next inning.

Agreed. And he would have been a good target if you don’t believe in Teel or Quero because he isn’t a free agent for 3 more seasons, but paying a prospect premium for any addition was never in Getz’s plans. It really wasn’t that bad of a thought though. Quero’s stock is so low right now we can’t even bank on him. And if you acquired Goodman, Teel could always be a 1B/DH, especially if Murakami leaves via free agency. But perhaps Goodman was never truly made available without a MASSIVE overpay. Sounds like the Yankees failed to land Goodman.- White Sox DFA Austin Hays
I agree to some extent but in order to trade for a Hunter Goodman, you need to expend prospect capital. You don't sit on it, and that is what they did.- White Sox DFA Austin Hays
I agree with you to some extent. The Brazoban and Bart trades were great for this playoff run and they didn’t cost anything. It sucks that Bart is already done for the season but s%*# happens. However, look at the two starters that the Cubs acquired. Both were rentals but they are both having great seasons. Meanwhile, Getz acquired a 5 ERA starter mainly because he was under control for one more year and his salary could be offset by Seranthony’s. Finally, Getz acquired a CF with a .570 OPS. These aren’t moves that a top team and competitor in baseball makes to win now. Getz made these moves because they were cheap and could fulfill half of his next offseason’s plans. Serious teams that want to win in the playoffs don’t make moves like this. The trade deadline is about acquiring the best performing rentals, not projects that have terrible stats. - White Sox DFA Austin Hays
