  1. Past hour

  2. 2Deep, the last couple of times that the Sox began to "pile on" a ton of runs in a game, at least a couple of people among those I was with quipped, "Hey boys, let's not use 'em all up at once! Save some for tomorrow!" And if I recall correctly, the next outing would be one of those where they couldn't seem to buy a run. Do you think that yesterday, for instance, after establishing what appeared to be a comfortable lead, the guys subconsciously took their foot off the pedal, offensively, for fear that they'd come up dry today? It'd be crazy to do so on purpose, of course, but I've wondered if there could be a deep psychological element that might allow that to happen. Okay you guys, go ahead and make fun of me-- I can take it!🙂
  3. Í don't think Lee is any good but I don't understand why they don't just get rid of him if the have no intention of giving him a shot.
  4. This is all good and well, but where’s Romo gonna play?
  5. This is great news!

  7. Making it similar to...virtually every home series when the White Sox have been in first place? It could also be the last time to see [insert player here] before a season-ending injury, sunshine
  8. That was essentially my comment. Do I think Schriff deserves an A? Of course not. But it's necessary to balance out the Fs he's going to get. The truth is somewhere in the middle. B minus.
  9. On a curve...he has improved from last year, but 75% of it is the excitement of a first place/competitive team
  10. Guess they were looking at At bats vs. plate appearances
  11. 7.15 career era from Castillo against his former team
  12. Don’t think I would have tried to claim this guy. But have to for whatever veteran gets cut
  13. “Mariners claimed C Willie MacIver off waivers from the Blue Jays. He’ll head to Triple-A Tacoma. MacIver, 29, spent part of last year as the Athletics’ backup catcher, hitting .186/.252/.324 in 32 games. His bat is generally considered better than his glove, which hasn’t helped his case for getting a fulltime backup gig. He was hitting .270/.344/.460 for Triple-A Buffalo this year.”
  14. Today

  15. Hopefully not, but this Reds series could be the last chance to see a first place White Sox team in person.
  16. Fake news. He's rocking a 25.4% strike out rate in AA. Good improvement from A+.
  17. Call him up!
  18. With Chase's wrist and then I heard Colson's back might be aching, Bonemer could get a cup of coffee in the Bigs.
  19. Romo sucks, Let's go White Sox. Playing a man down sometimes two with Acuna is infuriating.
  20. Ya, it was a Team loss. Lots of contributors, starting with the Manager, ending with the closer.
  21. Going to the game tonight. If we keep doing what we did last night it will be my last of the year. That was a terribly disappointing loss. Looked like a team that shut it down and tried to coast, which is not good when fighting for a division.
