Soxtalk is an exceptional site, free for we posers, I mean posters, but we never have a Merry Christmas thread. So I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. In honor of the holiday tell me 3 things you like/love about Chicago (not suburbia). It can be something from the past involving the Windy City too ... a.) Old Comiskey Park. It was a thrill to be in there every time I went except maybe when they had the astroturf infield and grass outfield. Weird. b.) Italian beef with soggy bun. It really is delicious. However as I age, it ruffles my stomach as do delightful White Castle burgers. c.) Christmas decorations on the southside. People come through every year and decorate their houses. True Chicagoans are special people. Hail to Mt. Greenwood. I miss you and wish u a Merry Christmas and thank u to soxtalk owners for this forum. Peace out. p.s. I certainly agree he's been the consensus pick since the college season ended. That's being the consensus pick for 6 months, certainly not going on 3 years as SS2K said. Kid has a 50% chance at best of holding the post position. Hope he does and hope he's a generational player, but odds are against him.
