  1. Past hour
  2. Nothing makes me feel more satisfied and content as a Bears fan than seeing some of these coach requests going out. My goodness.
  3. Lol. This isn’t one of the two times a broken clock is right, but keep fighting the good fight. I’m sure being bitter and cynical toward everything is very worth it in the end.
  4. So random question on this. Do we think that the Sox will have an above league average offense next year? Looking at the Steamer projections it sure looks like a 100 wRC+ is probable. Candidly speaking, if Murakami hits his projection I think we could crack the top 10, which would require a 105 wRC+.
  5. Today
  6. The best goalie in my lifetime, Glenn Hall has passed away at age 94. His record of 504 consecutive games between the pipes will never be broken. Thanks for some great memories.
  7. Forgot about this. We were all so young.
  8. January 8, 2014 – White Sox legend Frank Thomas, was elected to the Hall of Fame on his first try, with almost 84 per cent support. Thomas played the first 16 years of his career on the South Side, and was a five-time All-Star and two-time M.V.P. in 1993 and 1994. He also was the largest person both in height and weight to win a batting championship when he hit .347 in 1997. He also was the only player in history to hit over .300 with at least 100 runs, 100 RBI’s, 20 home runs and 100 walks in his first seven seasons.
  9. If he's hitting .100/.200/.230 in the middle of June, I'll bet they can convince him to get optioned.
  10. Not only are they terrible, Coors will inflate his stats nicely to screw him over for next offseason.
  11. No problem. You’re welcome for sharing the obvious with you.
  12. Do you not understand the meaning of words? He said: He expects Robert to be their CF, but they'll listen. Point out the lie.
  13. Wasn't ever too much surplus value / window to trade Robert the last three seasons given his performance and injuries. Probably the fact of the matter at this point is the Sox have bigger fish to fry. If he gets moved great, if he doesn't, fine, he's not going to be a part of the next good Sox team either way.
  14. So, again. He's not lying. He is lying. Even if he is lying, everyone does it, so it's ok. Thanks again.
  15. Pitcher for the Rockies would probably be a last choice, right after Savannah Bananas.
  16. Both him and Jacob Gonzalez for that matter.
  17. Trae to the Wizards for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/47545290/sources-hawks-trading-trae-young-wizards-mccollum-kispert
  18. He didn't say it's not happening. He said he expects LRJ to be their CF, although they'll listen to offers. Half the people complaining about this situation agree that they expect him to open the year in CF. I believe you even said that. You seem to imply that not bearing one's soul and spilling out all of one's motivations and goals is "lying". I laugh with you.
  19. Depth move for Seattle I guess. I’ll be surprised if he makes it out of camp or even sees Tacoma.
  20. It's funny you say this, but yet you proceed to very clearly agree with me that he is manipulating the truth and not giving the whole truth to people, meanwhile telling everyone its actually not happening, but even if he is, it is perfectly ok, because of how you buy cars, and you definitely can't handle it being said without having to rushing to defend it. Again. Mock it all you like, but then stop making my points for me.
  21. He's a Svengali, manipulating everybody he encounters - while being too dumb to make the correct statement to the press. Like threading two needles, miles away from each other, with the same camel. Only one group of clever posters can decipher the deception. The rest of us are smitten. If you'll excuse me, I have some real property to transfer over to GetzCo. I don't know why. I just do.
