  1. Past hour
  2. The return of Mune will be a welcome sight.
  3. This team after losing 2 heartbreakers shows what it’s made of, these guys are tough as nails and there is no quit in them.
  4. Well deserved, congrats to our MVP.
  5. Burke came through big time. Colson & Vargus studs
  6. Today
  7. I remember that game vividly and felt your pain. One thing about us Sox fans… we’re fucking loyal.
  8. Getz tried to extend him last offseason and he turned them down. It has already paid off. I’m sure he plans on going to free agency in three years unless the Sox offer him a sizable extension.
  9. I've never been happier to be wrong about a player. Good for him, he deserves it.
  10. Thankfully, Grant Taylor took Seranthony's spot. That said, what role does Dominguez have moving forward? The guy that comes in when there is a "less stressful situation?" How many of those have the Sox had lately? Dominguez last performance was a joke...bouncing a wild pitch before it hit home plate, walking two batters that ended up scoring and winning the game for CLE. Yea Getz signed him to a 2 year deal, but his patience has to be wearing thin with Dominguez. He has become a liability.
  11. One factoid today: July 5, 1987 - The Sox tied the franchise mark for the most lopsided win at the time, when they beat the Indians 17-0 at Cleveland. Kenny Williams and Harold Baines each drove in four RBI’s in the rout with Ozzie Guillen and Greg Walker knocking in three each. Future Hall of Famer Phil Niekro was saddled with the loss.
  12. https://www.truebluela.com/dodgers-scores-standings/119393/division-lead-keeps-growing-matchup-against-padres "How quickly does one get hit in the face with a reality check? Why don’t we ask the San Diego Padres, a team that, when it faced the Dodgers for the first time this season, trailed in the race for the NL West by just half a game? And no, this series didn’t occur so early in the year as to make this point irrelevant—it happened on May 18th, well short of two months ago. Now, as Yoshinobu Yamamoto gets ready for a second straight matchup against the Friars, the Dodgers possess a 14-game lead, one that sounds like a lot, but it’s even bigger when you put it into a certain context. If the Dodgers were to beat the Padres tonight, their lead over the Padres—who are currently tied with the Diamondbacks for the second spot in the NL West—would represent the second largest lead any team has against any opponent in their own division. As things currently stand, the Padres are much closer to the Rockies and the worst team in baseball (Royals) than they are to the Dodgers—the numbers show that, even if reality often brings much closer games such as Friday’s night one-run win thanks to a Teoscar Hernández grand slam."
  13. I will be very happy if we manage to take 2 out of 4 in Cleveland
  14. Much needed win. Good job boys.
  15. If ifs and butts were candy and nuts we’d all get laid at Christmas. Just win tomorrow. And yes, I’ve been drinking. 🍻

Their family was staying at the Hotel Eduards in Macuto when the earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, struck on Saturday evening. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/ex-mlb-catcher-hopes-wife-daughter-survived-venezuela-earthquake-as-family-dog-rescued-alive-from-rubble/ar-AA27d7zn?ocid=BingNewsSerp

  18. I’ll take it before giving the day to TA 😆
  19. After celebrating in Boston’s dugout, cameras captured a visibly upset Contreras crying — with the veteran first baseman overcome with emotion amid the tragedy playing out in his native Venezuela following a pair of devastating earthquakes last week. The death toll from both earthquakes has surpassed 1,700 as of Monday night, with Contreras raising funds and spreading the word about ways to assist recovery efforts in Venezuela over the last few weeks. “It’s not easy to hide. It’s not easy just to show up and play with everything that’s going on in my country,” Contreras said after Monday’s win. “I wasn’t feeling good the whole day. I was kind of down, sad. And I hit a homer. Of course, I tried to help [spark] my dugout. But the first thing that I said was ‘Venezuela.’ That was the first thing that came out of my mouth."
  20. He used a notoriously racist trope directed at Contreras in 2026. Please tell me you aren't defending it.
  21. Great game with big moments from some players we need to start pulling their weight again. Get one more tomorrow and get out of Cleveland. I hate that place and hate that team. Good riddance! PS: A 15 to 3 whallop tomorrow would be extra special and make me have the good feels once more… please.
  22. Great game, surprised by the pitching and we got a couple timely runs. Taylor should be a 1 inning closer. He is so good when he can just let loose for the 1 inning
  23. I watched the condensed game on the mlb app and was stressed out. Great win.
  24. "It's a hilarious combo, really. A man (James Wood) this large, this lean, this explosive, this singular of an athletic force, with more chill than a walk-in freezer. Usually, Wood exudes calm, oozes composure, floats through life with an endearing nonchalance. But that all changes when a baseball enters his happy zone. What a special talent." CJ Abrams has been the best, or at least most consistent NL SS, but they still might end up moving him, just as they parting ways with Gore.
