  1. Past hour
  2. Until they actually sign him I'm not going to worry about this.
  3. Today
  4. Act like you've been drinking for years like a real Sox fan.
  5. To finish the job that Rick Hahn couldn't do.
  6. at least we're not getting Golden Globes promos during this game, unlike the last cbs game. That was so cringe, they shouldn't have forced Nants to do that, pretty insulting. If they're gonna wear Orange Crush jerseys, then why not go back to the OC helmets. Better combo. Didn't know invesco field is called MHS now, just like the predecessor. Hopefully bears don't wear color rush again tomorrow, or worse, the orange tops. Yuck. Just wear what ya did last time you faced rams in playoffs, the standards. In between rams playoff games, rams left town, won a sb, lost a sb, returned, lost a sb, then won one. So, what's everyone's SB20 memories. Or 41. I only watched a few minutes of the SB20 halftime show while I ate pizza at Showbiz Pizza Place, didn't bother to watch the game since I was too busy with skeeball, wack a mole, and the singing gorillas. Saw 41 at a friend's place, but wasn't bothered by the outcome, that Colts team was likeable.
  7. I heard those donations actually go straight to the White Sox Assistant Director of Amateur Scouting.
  8. Since the offseason is the chance to dream, If the Sox fix him I will donate 25 dollars to a local Jeep dealership in loving memory of Ursula.
  9. If Tucker is $60 million and Bo Bichette is 42 per, $20 million for Luis Robert is NOTHING.
  10. Didn't he shake the injury bug last season? Maybe if we put a .500 ish team on the field it'll wake up Robert even more. Has to be tough to play when none of your at bats matter.
  11. Here’s my write up on the class: https://www.futuresox.net/2026/01/17/white-sox-ink-18-player-class-to-open/
  12. Good for you on that opinion. I’m done arguing with people about Robert. Hopefully you can come back to this post and point out that I’m wrong
  13. Very next post: “I was a die hard Cub fan back then”
  14. Yup, Stone Pony ain't in it for the cash. He's a palehose for life. as are we, of course, thru thick and thin. These thin years have been easy as pie, 2026 is looking good, so all systems are go. Jason just did a college game on fox rn, they need to move him and aj up to the a-team for mlb, Davis and Smolts can be secondary. Which pushes out amin, but oh well. Jas and Pierzynski are gold, they deserve the fall classic, IMO.
  15. I can’t fathom him getting less than Ardolis Garcia. $8M to $10M is basically like 1 to 1.5 WAR money. I think his $20M salary is probably closer to reality.
  16. Most likely a 1 year prove it deal that is heavy with incentives. $8-10 base salary. I would think the fact that Robert is still on this team should speak volumes to what the rest of the league thinks of him.
  17. I’m shocked Miller hasn’t ended up on the Sox the last few years
  18. sounds like FanGraphs thinks Ward is a platoon AAAA bat. I can't find anything substantial on Bobby Miller. Los Angeles Dodgers Top 52 Prospects | FanGraphs Baseball 21. Ryan Ward, LF Drafted: 8th Round, 2019 from Bryant University (LAD) Age 27.8 Height 5′ 11″ Weight 200 Bat / Thr L / R FV 40 Tool Grades (Present/Future) Hit Raw Power Game Power Run Fielding Throw 40/40 55/55 50/50 45/45 50/50 30 Ward is the Crash Davis of our times. He’s spent the last three years marinating at Triple-A, where he comfortably set the Oklahoma City Comets franchise home run record and became an annual presence on the target lists of scouts with PCL coverage. Buried on the Dodgers depth chart, he probably would have debuted for a couple dozen other clubs by this point, and who knows how agonizingly close he’s been to a ring-netting cup of coffee with Los Angeles. Power is Ward’s best skill, and he’s able to bring plenty of his above-average raw into games. While he uses the entire field, he’s also gotten better at identifying which pitches he can turn on and drive. Befitting a power bat off the bench, he swings a fair bit, but he’s not recklessly aggressive either. He’s average in a corner and has played a little first base, so there’s a bit of defensive versatility here. The quality of his at-bats declines considerably against lefties: He doesn’t see their spin well, and ideally would never face them. He’s on the Quad-A/platoon buffer, and for his sake, we’re hoping 2026 brings more clarity about which side of the line he belongs on.
  19. Did you know Miguel Vargas made a swing adjustment at the end of April?
  20. Seriously. Even an optimistic timeline should be September, not the Super 2 deadline. This kid has barely gotten wet, and hasn't experienced any failure or struggle. Let him simmer a bit.
  21. Sox fandom promptly dies from alcohol poisoning.
  22. You know he's made the team when the talk turns from he's an asshole to he's our asshole and just misunderstood.
