QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 07:40 AM) '85 Bears still can't shy away from the spotlight If the Blackhawks play like that over the next 3 or 4 years??? Umm, you dumb asses only made it to one Super Bowl, what the hell are you talking about??? These guys are getting to be as annoying as the 72 Dolphins. Seriously. All I ever hear is how that team was supposed to be lined up to become a dynasty and they never even made it back to the Super Bowl. Those guys are totally bought into their own hype.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 12:42 PM) I view this as a cub slam more than relishing in the Bears failures. WHERE IS THE 1981 STING!!!!!!! The Sting was the first team I ever saw win a championship - they'll always hold a special place in my crusty black heart. Pato Margetic, Dieter Ferner, Rudy Glenn, Karl-Heinz Granitza, Bret "The Toy Bulldog" Hall, Arno Steffenhagen, Charlie Fajkus, Davey Huson, Franz Mathieu..... ....I could go on.....but I won't, you get my point.

QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 11:59 AM) He choked himself with a weightlifting cord. And I've heard it was Linda's senate campaign that complained, NOT Mattel. Well, they won't have her campaign to worry about much longer if the polls are to be believed. -

A spoiler from the Impact tapings, to air tomorrow night: I honestly don't know what to think about that one, other than it being kind of unnecessary and weird. -

F4WONLINE.COM IS REPORTING: TNA sent Scott Hall home from the TV tapings last night and it appears he is done with the company. IMO, not only is it no big loss, it is no loss at all. This idiot got more chances than his talent ever dictated and never failed to f*** up each and every time. I hope this is the end of The Bland. -

QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 12:07 PM) It would have been different if Benoit had died in a car wreck.. Did Benoit choke himself or anyone else with a tie? That Benoit thing is a sham - Mattel cried about it and the E buckled. -

So let's re-cap for people keeping score: Pretending to choke someone with a tie = YYYYYOU'RRRRRRRRE FFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRED!!!!!!! Pretending to injure someone by slamming him into multiple cars = YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! BRILLIANT WRITING!!!!! Running THAT angle after THAT firing = ridiculous. -

QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 02:03 PM) Thank you. Just wanted to know where it came from, that's all. Most of my stuff comes from Lords of Pain, who get it from Meltzer, Alvarez, etc. LOP is a good catch-all news/reports site. The forums are super-dumb, though. -
This is Why I Love Ozzie; Don't Deny You Love Him Too
The Critic replied to greg775's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I would only disagree with Ozzie on this point: In the situation the Sox were in (down one run in the 9th inning), if Juan Pierre bunts it's not unprofessional since bunting is part of his game. If Paul Konerko bunts, it's unprofessional. If you're getting trounced, then maybe even Pierre bunting can be seen as a dick move. -
Just bought my ticket for Warped Tour. I'm there to see Flatfoot 56, Reel Big Fish, Andrew WK, Alkaline Trio and especially Face To Face. I'm going to feel REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY old that day.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) I hope Kane goes to the Cubs-Sox game today and throughout the course of the game, he funnels a case of Busch Light, does heroin while singing the 7th inning stretch, and then punches a child in the face. If people are going to cry about him not acting like a role model (as though he owes that to anybody), he might as well go the whole nine yards. Which side are you arguing here, Milkman? -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 12, 2010 -> 12:07 AM) Get Him To The Greek was surprisingly funny. I'll take your word for it. I don't like Russell Brand or Jonah Hill, so I'll pass.

QUOTE (longshot7 @ Jun 12, 2010 -> 03:37 PM) Confirmed by who? You can't it's been confirmed and then not corroborate it. I can't WHAT it's been confirmed and then not corroborate it? http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/tna/8123.html More on the Huge Changes Coming to TNA By Marc Middleton Jun 11, 2010 - 9:06:39 PM Source: PWInsider.com - As noted before, Dixie Carter has hyped some major changes coming to TNA on her Twitter account. There has been a lot of talk that TNA has reached out to big names to work on the creative end of the company. It has been confirmed that two of those names are Kevin Sullivan and Paul Heyman. Word is that if Paul Heyman would come into TNA, he would need complete control of the creative side of things. It's also confirmed that TNA has talked with Sullivan about coming in. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 12, 2010 -> 02:31 PM) How many big announcements can you have until nobody cares? I actually like TNA more than E a bit right now. I'm enjoying TNA other than the Old Guys Club. Jay Lethal's Flair impression is helping make Flair more watchable. Kazarian may well be the worst "actor" in wrestling right now. Santino Marella has more believable facial expressions. -

So Dixie has promised "major, sweeping fundamental changes" coming to TNA soon. It's been confirmed that TNA has been in contact with Kevin Sullivan and Paul Heyman to head the creative team. The report said that Heyman would want complete control of the creative team in order to join. Interesting.... -

Eh, it didn't bother me. He's 21 years old and he's got the world on a string. This may never happen again, so why go all-out? For parents, it's another "See, kids, athletes are NOT role models" moment. Maybe I'd have tried to keep it together during the rally, but I can't say for sure because I never scored a Stanley Cup-winning goal at the same age I could legally drink alcohol. Knowing how I was at age 21 I'd have probably worn a bullet belt of beers onstage. -

Here's why I think it's a work: Source: F4Wonline.com - As noted before, the reason being told for Daniel Bryan's release is because of him choking Justin Roberts with his own tie during the NXT invasion angle on RAW. Word is that someone very important complained to WWE officials about the angle with the idea that kids who were watching may think it's fun to choke people with their ties. It's unknown who actually complained but it had to be someone with a lot of power. Bryan is being described as a scapegoat. WWE does want to bring him back to the roster once the whole thing blows over. If that's the case, why not just suspend him instead? I kind of hope for his sake that TNA offers him more money and he goes there. It's stupid IMO for a company that "blew up" its own chairman on TV to tell a guy that the style of fake violence he chose to pretend to use is WRONNNNG. -
A female to male sex change is an addadictome. My father told me that joke when I was like 8 or 9. Then he offered me a beer and gave me a machete to play with.
