Moncada 2023 Edition
I've heard the same regarding all three players you mentioned. Specifically Grandal. If they could've gotten rid of him already they would have.

My God that was awful

Only in this organization does one hit a walk off grand slam, then sit the next game.

Thread from 2015: White Sox sign Carson Fulmer
Meh, when I was playing I had plenty of coaches I had to tune out due to bad advice/know it all attitude. I'd imagine that'd be hard for someone drafted out of college to a major league organization. You want to come in and do what you're told. There are so many levels in an mlb organization it's probably a whirlwind of info for these young players coming from guys that failed themselves. Blame to go around? Sure. But good/bad coaching matters too. Sometimes too much.

6/4 Sox vs. Tigers 1:10PM CT
Burger hits a walk off grand slam in his first start this weekend. Fitting. Go win 3 in New York.

Lol at Vaughn motioning for Robert to run as Robert casually walks back to the bag.

If TA cared he might have hustled.

6/4 Sox vs. Tigers 1:10PM CT
This team will never win more than 4 or 5 in a row because once they stack a few they just phone one in. Such an infuriating group to watch.

Nice to be slightly less bad today.

28 pitches through 3 for lorenzen....at least they're making him work.

6/3 Sox vs. Tigers 1:10PM CT
This is why this is a loser organization. Guys like Moncada, who loaf it to 1st base and don't seem to enjoy the game playing over guys like Burger who bust it every time and want to win. It's the same crap with every manager which makes me think the orders are coming from higher up. Jake is really one of the only reasons I'm still tuning in. I'm so tired of this garbage.

Lance Lynn
Yikes....to be fair that'd be far more effort from Yoan than we've seen this year.

Hanser Alberto pitching on opening day should've told us everything we needed to know about this season.

Remember Hahn will step down if he feels he's not doing an adequate job.

Prospects to Target
I had similar thoughts on the Orioles waiting to deal. I just like a lot of their guys.

Prospects to Target
These last few games have convinced me the season is cooked. The last thing I want to admit is that we may see this front office attempt to retool/rebuild again but that's where we are as a fanbase. That being said has anyone been keeping up with current prospects that may be attainable? LA and Baltimore have some really nice pieces from the brief perusing I've done but they may be higher than they can afford with ballplayers/deals being sold. Jordan Westburg looks like a real nice infielder with the O's and the Dodgers have a few catchers in the top 100. I tend to believe they'll target close to MLB ready guys. Any thoughts from minds more in tune with this?

I tend to have some agreement with you there.

Not really an ideal spot for his return. You think they pressured Grifol to get him in tonight?

He is either red hot or ice cold. No in between.

Sox @ Tigers 12:40
That was a pretty important series to maintain momentum. Unless they have a 5 - 1 homestand pretty tough to see them ever getting in the neighborhood of .500.

Tigers oughta finish this off fairly quickly here.
