They're certainly doing a great job earning back our trust early.

Looks like the only "fun" part of the season were those several innings Saturday it looked like they might win.

It'll change nothing. I was delusional yesterday thinking an 0-10 start might get pedro fired but the organization is expecting a 100 loss season. Nothing will change. Just less and less people caring.

This is not fun, and a 100 loss season accomplishes nothing. Jerry refuses to invest with money hard working sox fans fork over to him hand over fist. My kids are both at an impressionable age for baseball and they're already tired of all the losing. The entire organization is trash and it wasn't always this way. This is not fun bad.

It's quite astounding how much damage the Hahn/Williams era did. The organization may never recover. Certainly not anytime soon.

Yeah. I was hoping he'd be in there today.

Extra inning rule still hands down the dumbest thing implemented in the sport.

No.

It's horseshit they don't enforce those all spring then on opening day boom.

Heard 6 bucks for decent seats earlier today. 1st opener I've ever intentionally avoided and first I've missed in 20 years. I hope it's empty.

I get all this as well. Hopefully it does sort itself out. Hopefully it's not just Pedro not wanting to make a decision. Personally I have trouble trusting a guy who pitched Hanser Alberto on Opening Day last year.

I get that to some extent, but a bullpen functions best when pitchers know their roles. I'd honestly rather he pick a closer randomly then to just constantly be shifting.

Wonderful. So not only is he not assigning a closer but he disagrees with the philosophy altogether...unless of course you have a hall of famer. This dude makes Bevington look like genius.

Is this clown going to announce a closer or is it gonna be the closer by committee crap that failed last year?

No but the kid can't get out of the second inning. Put him in his most successful position hes had from the last few seasons and see if he can regain confidence. It seems they're trying to promote competition in camp so rewarding someone who is struggling would counter that.

Really nice offensive inning.

Guh, so much for that improved defense nonsense. I know it's spring but not pretty.

That was a nice AB from Elko

Hey! He almost hit his age in pitches.

That gun was fired inside the ballpark. The offender/teacher story is close to correct. Believe it or don't.

He's gotta be trolling us at this point. There's no way he's this stupid.

Yup. And mine are they age I was when I started going. So I've been pissed I haven't been able to share that with them. That being said, I too would gladly speak my mind....as eloquently as possible.

Usually "things that make sense" and "what Jerry wants" are in different columns.

I would think the less Brandon Johnson is involved the better.

Go sign Michael Taylor if you're not trading Cease. I feel like this should be an easy one.
