I take back my eye roll at least partly. I looked into it a bit, and Mangameslost.com does suggest that the White Sox have been one of the worst teams in terms of wins lost due to injury. Now I don't know for sure if that has anything to do the training staff. But I'm a little more open to your line of thinking.

But this isn't a badly constructed lineup, unless you have some problem with the order that I have overlooked. You can argue that Vaughn might be marginally better than Lamb even with a righty on the mound, but that's about it. Having Vaughn in our back pocket when Toronto tries to go lefty lefty could be helpful too. Zavala is super shaky behind the plate (Collins is yikes too admittedly). Hernandez needs a day off. And Tim Anderson is hurt. I don't think La Russa is the villain here.
