No. Love Field has Campisi's pizza. It's so damn good and local.

I've never been a "buy a box of candy guy" at the movies. Hooked on the one medium sized jug of popcorn and one water. Although our movie theatre has real food now like burgers and pizza which will tempt me if our theatre opens up again. Yumm. But $$$$. In conclusion I never buy candy not cause of the price but I don't need the milk duds during a flick. I do need to munch some non buttered popcorn.

The Covid protocol makes sense. I never thought of that, however I'd still make sure they got their popcorn on the way out of the stadium.

Airports and movie theatre prices are disgusting as well. Kansas City airport really is a gouger, ripoff. However, some airports have chains like Dallas Love Field with Whataburger and that local pizza chain that arent' that overpriced. Midway Airport you can get grub at that foodcourt that isn't ridiculously priced. I usually get a chicken panini at that food court stand that used to have pizza slices. Panini and a softdrink and chips is regularly priced. Movie popcorn is hilariously overpriced. Before covid I'd go to some movies in the afternoon. I'd buy a popcorn no butter, a normal sized bottle of water and I'd laugh as it was about 16-20 bucks. Ought to be illegal.

If I was that security guy I'd have told them where to meet me as they were walking out so I could give them their popcorn for the drive home. Hopefully he did that. Common sense, White Sox. Show some.

It really angers me. Bush league in a 9-3 game and plenty of room for the popcorn. Just tell the fricking fans on the way out to not bring the big bag of popcorn again. Some fans ought to run up and buy em some more popcorn if there's time to get a few boxes for 8 bucks a box probably.

Taking away that popcorn is bush league move by Sox management in a 9-3 game and no fans sitting where the big bag of popcorn is. Obviously if the popcorn was getting in the way but that's just wrong. I love the way the woman kept eating the popcorn and not looking at the security guard and just kept eating til he took the bag. Sad White Sox.

Is this the best yet least likeable team in Sox history? I think many of us would be OK with a ton of personnel switches in the lineup and the Sox are 14 over .500 for gosh sakes. Hard to fall in love with many of these guys. Don't get me wrong. 14 over .500 is dandy.

Hard to believe the Sox are 14 over .500 with this lineup and iffy relievers. Injuries have decimated this team. I miss Madrigal too.

As long as they throw it there and not on the field like the Cubs do.

I'm not a big fan of Goodwin. Is there reason I should change my mind about him?

To my untrained eye Jose has a bad approach at the plate this season. I do realize he's close to the lead league in RBIs. I know it's cliche and probably wrong but he seems 'off' at the plate. He takes a lot of cookies and has a lot of bad at bats. I'm hoping he starts to relax and fricking pound the ball.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
Covid news today: I was reading it still hasn't been decided if spectators will be allowed at Olympics. I wonder how many people have flights booked to go over there. My opinion: You'd have to be nuts to go to Japan right now for the Olympics. That's not the best place to be with Covid still around. In fact that's not a good place to be with Covid lurking around. The Games should probably be called off til more is known about the new variant. Also Missouri has a lot of cases of people contracting the new variant of Covid. My opinion: If this was an election year, me thinks Covid would still be quite an issue in the USA, lockdowns, etc., still rampant rather than opening up. Why? This new variant thing is looming and a lot of peeps still won't get vaccinated.

Color Guy: Who did it better?
That's wild. It's mind boggling. Reinsdorf must never run into Stoney. It'd be awfully embarrassing to be a billionaire and not allow Stone and Benetti to actually call the road games in person. Stoney should say something to Jerry if he ever runs into him. He's got nothing to lose at age 73. It's so cheap of Reinsdorf. It is really stupid in 2021 to cover games off a TV feed. Wow.

Color Guy: Who did it better?
He's 73 years old. The baseball season is a long grind. Apparently he has dogs in Arizona that he wants to visit from time to time. And somebody on here says the Sox announcers do not travel to road games (is this possible?) If that's true, it has to stink covering games off TV. No thanks. Just my takes.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Nice win to end the losing streak.

Adam Engel Back to the IL - Hamstring
Shame on the Sox if they rushed Engel back. Let the guys heal.

So many Sox hitters can't handle the slider. But like somebody said offense is down. It's a baseball problem caused by modern baseball.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
I don't want to name examples in detail lest I get banned, but the people you trust may not have the best interests of people in mind. A certain doctor wrote a book and has appeared on more magazine and newspaper covers than Tom Cruise (OK, maybe not Cruise; how bout Hanks). Another governor who somehow his keeping his job amid MeToo also wrote a book indicating how great he is. I disagree with your trust. As far as my viewing habits ... I read both websites not just one to see the hilarious differences in coverage of stuff, CNN and Fox. I like to check also to see if the pieces are labeled "opinion" once I notice a story has turned into opinion. Reading both at least balances me out. I also check the NY Post (relax the Times is a paysite and so are the chicago trib and sun times) for grins and also to see what they are pursuing that CNN won't. Peace out. I need to end my posts with DBM from now on so I don't have to write it. (Don't Ban Me). Thanx in advance.

I would love for the Sox to shock and win a trade big. Acquire some high paid stud from a team looking to dump salary. Why not us?

As much as I hate the reliance on the long ball, Sox seem to have a simple victory formula through the years: 3 homers a game coupled with the starter going 7 innings, we win a lotta games. if either thing is missing, Sox are just a normal team. Sox don't seem to be blasting many homers. How the Sox have built this amazing record this season so far, I dunno. Tony is doing something right in addition to playing lousy Central teams.

COVID-19/Coronavirus thread
I do appreciate your response. It seems you sincerely want me to improve mentally which is nice of you. I did look up your link. It said: "More than 310 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the United States from December 14, 2020, through June 14, 2021. During this time, VAERS received 5,343 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine." That's a lot of deaths IMO. I really pray that everybody who took the vaccine will be fine down the road. Some people are concerned about the vaccines and won't be vaccinated. Like I said, I can understand. I decided to go with all the people who took the vaccine and was fully vaxxed with no problems at all (right now). I just can't help but be upset at our scientists and politicians that's why I freak out. For instance, covid is still really bad right now in some countries and I was reading that the new variant has hit here in America pretty hard. So in my very upset brain, I'm thinking, "if an election was coming up, would we still all be locked down? Would we still be wearing masks everywhere?" I'm kinda skeptical and could see the scientists and governors freaking out regarding the new variant of covid if say a presidential election was coming up. I appreciate your advise for wanting me to have a better life and be a better example for my friends who listen to my concerns (though I really don't voice them out loud). However, I do question why you seem to trust scientists and politicians a lot more than greg. Thank u for your tone in your posts to me. I just try to say what I'm feeling and hope for the best in terms of not getting banned.
