I'm reading a Steve Berry novel right now, King's Deception. He's an historical fiction writer who I really enjoy.

I get that some dogs are meant to be outdoors in one sense, but I'm referring to the fact that it seems that dog that was mentioned is chained up outside most of it's life, which I can not see any real reason for

And Alvarado is not ready for this stage either. Gonzalez should be there. It sounds ridiculous, but I can actually see a scenario where Cameron Carter Vickers is one of our starters at CB in 2018. And yes, that ref was completely over his head last night.

Trayce Thompson went 0-3 but his K-rate, which has long been his biggest problem, is quietly down under 19% on the year. It'd be nice to see his BB rate be a little higher and to see more power, but it's encouraging to see his contact rate improve basically every year. I think he probably deserves to get his first taste of the big leagues this season if anyone goes down or in September.
