It might of been somewhat salvageable if they didn't hire LaRussa. I mean, Kenny and Hahn were TERRIBLE at drafting. If Jerry doesn't allow anyone to sign big name FAs, they could of drafted talent and made trades.

I really hate Jerry with all my heart...but I think he is trying to set this up for the next owners.

Grandal Moncada Giolito Eloy Grandal is just bad. Moncada is getting way too much money for his output. Gioito is a headcase. Eloy is self explanatory.

The rebuild is over. They are in a transition phase. They have too much money locked up in guys that either are bad or always hurt.
