  1. Fedde was doing fine, he pitches that inning even with Hudson available IMO. And Hudson was getting to the point where he needed work regardless, it had been 4 days since he pitched. Taylor is also getting to that point, hasn't pitched since the Dodgers series.
  2. Given how most people would have viewed the matchup coming in, a one swing/dive outcome isn't the worst....But man it would have been a nice one to steal. Really tough luck loss for Fedde tonight, he pitched well. With the rested pen, maybe they should have just went in willing to pull him early if he struggled instead of opening with Eisert. Didn't really seem like he needed the training wheels vs. the Tigers lineup.
  3. Yeah, I've been pretty torn on whether I'd prefer DET to concede and make the division more winnable this year, or for them to not cash out on Skubal and weaken their system going forward.
  4. .600 xBA there after his 415ft 24/30 flyout earlier Can't buy one despite much improved contact quality
  5. 400ft fly outs for us, soft bloop doubles for them
  6. Junior Perez says Tarik Who-bal?
  7. Schultz starting Sunday, 50-60 pitches (3-4 innings). One more at AAA after that, then they'll decide next steps. Mune has graduated from the tee to the cages but not hitting Trajekt/high velo yet
  8. Deepest part of the park unfortunately
  9. In ST they said they were targeting around 100
  10. You're only seeing Acuna so much this week because they are running into a stretch of LHP with Mune sidelined. If Gonzo was RHH and/or looked a little more ready, he'd be at 1B. In any case, I wouldn't make a 40 man move for either of those guys. Slater is a worse Grichuk and redundant with him here when neither can backup CF behind Peters. Espinal could back up 3B I guess, but I'll take Acuna's speed and ability to backup SS over that as the last guy on the roster.
  11. Mune will still get days at DH, probably a bit more often than before coming off an injury. If you want to minimize movement in the IF, you need someone between Mune and Vargas on the 1B depth chart.
  12. There are only two remaining teams in MLB without a loss streak of 4+ this season: the Braves and your first place White Sox. And ATL is on a L3 with Misiorowski up next, so the Sox are well positioned to be the last team standing Such a difference from the last couple seasons
  13. 2 ERA/0.85 WHIP in 3 games with an opener coming in
  14. Do I have to become an obnoxious reverse-jinxer now, or does it not count since they scored 4? 😅
  15. Just baiting the HBPs apparently, let them cook
  16. I would think it's Burke if it's still tied, Taylor if they can score here
  17. ...I just assume the Sox aren't going to score 3 this inning
  18. I just assume anything challenged is going NYs way
