I heard about this a couple of days ago when my old roommate was telling me how a ZBT junior died, but reading the stories it appears he had a history of seizures and it might be of natural cause. So how much money did the taxpayers spent to get 25 college kids for an average of a quarter ounce of pot?

16 months old. Any kind of warranty they give you after the repair? Is this fix guaranteed for life?

My PS3 has stopped reading discs. Happened last night while watching a blu-ray movie. Apparently this is as common as the red ring of death for the xbox360. Anyone else have this happen to them or know someone first hand that experienced it?

http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/news/artic...sp&c_id=cws When did Wise play "good" this year? Call me a bad Sox fan, but I hope Wise never returns to our team. It's bad baseball to put him in CF and in the lineup.

Currently 1-1, 1.06 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 19 K's in 17 IP in AAA

Same reason why Lillibridge made the team. Don't want to make the Vazquez and Swisher trades look like salary dumps. They want to try and show at least 1 player in each trade return contribute to the big league team.

How far did Alexei fly out? Downs has been fantastic for the past few years. Get a clue. -

Oh god, here we go again with run differentials. Why is it every year we still hear "The Twins are better than their expected record?" Here's a hint. They come from behind to win games late, have a rock solid closer, and don't have a feast or famine lineup. -

Poll - finding the pulse of Filibuster posters
santo=dorf replied to lostfan's topic in The Filibuster
That right there is the problem with the catch--all threads. If I'm going to post something negative about the Twins or Cubs, do I post it in a pro-Sox thread? If they're obnoxious posts, why have them? If they're only obnoxious to certain people, why don't the certain people decide what to do with the post. That's what the ignore list is for, right? -

I wish I read this post before I voted. I don't understand the catch-all stuff for split parties. News is news. It's basically a gossip thread about the other party except everyone sees it. -
I thought it was funny. Perhaps when KC starts tanking again he'll get a little upset and realize he's committed himself to a loser.
-
Hmm, in his only other outing this year he gave up two hits, a walk, and 2 k's in the inning and didn't allow a run. 0 ERA, 3.00 WHIP, 5 K's in 2 IP.
-
Bryan Bulington is a #1 overall pick by the Pirates, and after they drafted him they envisioned him as third starter material. Losers.
-
How about benching him after his pathetic show of offense? No point in DFAing him. He'll go unclaimed. They should release him outright like the Yanks did with Humberto Sanchez.
-
I think they got rid of the actual vests in 2004 and went with some sew-on the black sleeves on the white vest crap before finally getting rid of them. Need to get a red pinstripes uni game out there soon.

I thought Jimenez was released too.

...and they're wrong. He faced us once before and he threw 7 innings of shutout ball en route to a victory. Typical Wow. Felix Pie with a hit??? That's a troubling sign. -
Really? That sucks. You figure it makes sense to have names on the road jersey because most of the fans don't know the visiting players' names.

Of the select students from my senior class, excluding junior college, it seemed the highest % of my class went there, and the few I talked to did not speak positively of it. My brother transferred there and is finishing up this semester (on an internship away from campus) and absolutely hates it. He never wants to return, even for commencement. Too boring of a town.

So, is this guy any good? I heard some people comparing him to Jon Garland.

Most interesting/ease- Core: 1. Engineering Physics III (Modern Physics) 2. Differential equations 3. Thermodynamics 4. Introduction to Pro/Engineer 5. Dynamics Elective: 1. Nuclear Engineering 2. Human Factors 3. Reliability Engineering 4. Intermediate Macroeconomics (A joke as long as you knew how to take a derivative. That was apparently too much for some business majors) 5. Introduction to Music literature or something like that (easy because I already played two instruments at the time.)

I thought "the foot fist way" was really terrible.

Delmon Young is still overhyped by fans of other teams. I still read "He's only 23!" "He's a former first overall pick!" "He still hits over .290!"

Or a manager can name the pitcher to be the starting pitcher 4 games in a row and have "a late replacement" and the supension will be in up just in time for the starter's regular spot.
