  1. Don’t stop now boys!
  2. I’d start my offer for Crosby for both of our 2nd rounders this year and be willing to go to our first rounder.
  3. Wohoo - only time I’ll root for a cubbie hah
  4. Bummer - got to get a bit here with two outs.
  5. US seems pretty much like they are screwed if it goes to tie breakers. Giving up 5 to Brazil is going to be something they regret a ton.
  6. Wow I just realized the 8 runs were on 4 hits.
  7. Yeah USA is in a bad spot since Italy and Mexico have both had a shut out. So If they don’t put up a ton of runs here than it doesn’t look good if Mexico beats Italy.
  8. Or just get Italy to give up a bunch of runs now.
  9. That was weak by Washington. Why were they fouling so much down by like 20 plus points.
  10. Crap teel hurt hammy on double
  11. Or is that Eisen report fake news?
  12. I didn’t realize but Rich Eisen reported Bears offered 2 firsts for Crosby and were the runners up. If that is true will be very interesting to see what happens. I expect Crosby to Bears will be announced.
  13. I don’t know the meds - but if you can get him for a first I’m in. I don’t know details but I’ve seen enough tweets that Bears could make the cap work.
  14. No that is what is crazy. Lindy could go back to ravens
  15. I think you could make it work if they wanted to. I would be all over the phones.
  16. I would definitely trade our 2nd and a future pick for him - if he produces it could go up to being as high as a 2nd rounder again next year....just saying.
  17. I'll be honest - had zero interest in Wright and you can see by the $'s the rest of the league largely saw the same thing on tape. Same thing with CJGJ - no interest in him returning.
  18. Solid Duvernay replacement. They still need another vet wideout (unless they plan on taking one in the draft in 1st 3 rounds).
  19. This is a big deal - I stlil think they are viewing it as - we expect a bit of a step back as the schedule gets harder, with a recognition from BJ and Poles that they still have work to do on the foundations. It appears that is exactly what they are doing - and that they aren't looking for short-term/quick fixes. With that said - a year from now - the hope is they have another good draft (and the young players already on the roster continue to ascend) and you enter next off-season coming off another strong season and are now well positioned to make a "splash" move or two - both from a cap perspective and having your full complement of draft picks.
  20. I think this all comes down to - how did they do in the draft. Largely speaking they were swimming upstream in free agency, but I do like that they got a bit younger and faster - both Bryant and Bush are clear starters, still in their prime, and add some speed (in fairness Edmunds was pretty fast (and similar age as Bush - but had a bit more miles). The wr room is weaker - so I expect we'll see them do something there, but they clearly have confidence in internal pieces to fill the void as well and I can see that happening (but the players have to step up and make the most of that - looking primarily at Rome and Luther - but great opportunity for Jahdae Walker as well). I am guessing we may see a 1YR stop-gap come in too, once the market has died down I would think there would be a number of options who might see the Bears as a good place to go. Our secondary is still really counting on bounce backs from Gordon / JJ. That isn't necessarily a bad view - but I expect we'll see another decent size signing targeted here. I'm wondering if they go back to Seahawks well and look at Woolen. Big size and better version of Nashon Wright. If they don't target him, I could absolutely still see Brisker or Byrad back on a shorter-term deal. But it ultimately is going to come down to how do they do in the draft - can they upgrade the dline, secondary and perhaps LB corps a bit there...we'll see. Will be interesting to see if they end up moving back at 25 and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder (depending on how far back they move and who is falling)? I certainly could see them doing that to maximize picks in that range. It also seems like Bagent is in play if they can get the right value - whether that is in the off-season or even in-season if a QB gets injured and a team is in need. Feels like they want at least a 3rd (if not a 2nd) or multiple 3rds' to make something happen.
  21. Wish I knew he was back there- was watching that same game with my son and his friend. They just have snagged 10 balls between the two of them.
  22. I absolutely like Booker but there are plenty of snaps to go around and they need to keep investing here. No such thing as too much pass rush. Rashard Gary officially a free agent - pretty solid sack production last few years and still on right side of 30.
  23. I’m good not getting Max for that
